But thanks for the feedback. I think the one other bug is instead of saying 60% on the battery icon it says 59% but that's easily fixable I think. Last edited by MrObvious; 12-03-2009 at 10:33 AM. |

My guess it's that Manilla isn't installed on the ROM. Are you saying it works for you?
Also recall, I don't use Titanium, disabled and currently using SPB Mobile Shell 3.5. Like I said, no big deal, I'll hang on to this rom for a few more days until the next release or so. Don't fret, it's all good! |

I wonder if it is SPB. No I just use Titanium and Manila 2.5 on OMJs ROM whichever mood I am in. Hmm. If you want to take a video maybe I might be able to figure out what is going on. But oh well. Maybe if you want I can cook you a special version using the stock phone canvas that comes with a shipped ROM.

Re: Obviously Stable ROM | Updated 11/25 | All Carriers | 21876 | 25MB PP
Just loaded your rom, hoping it's the one! Sounds great, typing this while syncing contacts. I'll try and reproduce marcjen's problem, as I will test it both before and after I install spbms3.5.1 . I too suspect ms, not just because the letters ms are suspect, lol. but we'll see. I greatly prefer ms3 to titanium, although I think I'll probably install htchome2 as well. It's still my favorite home screen (simple & powerful). well, contacts are synched! I'm off an running!
Thanks for the obviously hard work! obviously hope it's really stable, because that is my most important concern. Looks like there's plenty of stuff to test. I'll report back! UPDATE: hitting contact card from your dialer (I really don't know what is tachi or rhodium or whatever, it's whatever your rom has!) works just fine! opens the contact info! I'll let you know what happens later when I have spbms installed. hopefully it will still work since I like mobileshell!

Thanks etski. I think his bug may just be related to SPB because I don't get it with Manila, Titanium, or anything else really. Also I don't have a copy of SPB to install so I'm just tempted if it is a conflict to just install a different dialer and maybe just cook a different version with SPB cooked in for those that use it.

np, just finished my superficial titanium testing. I hate titanium contacts! put a couple up, favepeople app is painfully slow. only displays one at a time, useless to me. when I tried the other layout, accuser large photos, it bombed. tried to go the the website listed in about, got a blank page in opera. I'm done with titanium, turning it off, loading HTCHOME2 & mobileshell and continuing testing.
Thanx again o, I'm having fun! |

Yeah Titanium isn't the best out there. Lemme know how SPB works with the dialer bug.

Re: Obviously Stable ROM | Updated 11/25 | All Carriers | 21876 | 25MB PP
conclusively proven it's a problem with mobile shell. once the shell is activated, it doesn't work from the dialer. they appear to have their own contact display and it doesn't work allow you to open the contact from the keypad dialer display, either by hitting the contact card or by using open contact menu option. It won't open a contact from the dialer unless I actually exit the mobile shell. open contact does work fine from caller logs, both in and out of mobile shell while it's active.
If you want to try mobile shell, it's got a free 2 week trial right from their website. If you flash more often then that, it works great with it's backup & restore settings capability. I find it's the best way to restore my personalized settings after a flash (after I run sashimi). I wish I had a way to restore my HTCHOME2 contacts, programs & options as quickly. Here's the link to the download if you want to try. It's got a few bugs, but nothing in my mind that's a dealbreaker. Calk's 6.5 demo rom sold me on it, I loved no bloat, no manilla, no titanium! Once I find a rom that's stable enough, I'm going to pay for it! Since I already bought spb backup, I get 20% off & I definitely think it's worth the $24!!! If you like it, maybe you'll make a bloatfree rom too!!!! http://softspb.com/ext/mobileshell/9...Shell3.arm.cab Last edited by etski; 12-03-2009 at 08:51 PM. |

Does it work with a shipped ROM dialer? I'm halfway thinking it might be worth it to cook up a version with the shipped dialer and see how that works.
