Re: Obviously Stable ROM | Updated 11/25 | All Carriers | 21876 | 25MB PP

conclusively proven it's a problem with mobile shell. once the shell is activated, it doesn't work from the dialer. they appear to have their own contact display and it doesn't work allow you to open the contact from the keypad dialer display, either by hitting the contact card or by using open contact menu option. It won't open a contact from the dialer unless I actually exit the mobile shell. open contact does work fine from caller logs, both in and out of mobile shell while it's active.

If you want to try mobile shell, it's got a free 2 week trial right from their website. If you flash more often then that, it works great with it's backup & restore settings capability. I find it's the best way to restore my personalized settings after a flash (after I run sashimi). I wish I had a way to restore my HTCHOME2 contacts, programs & options as quickly. Here's the link to the download if you want to try. It's got a few bugs, but nothing in my mind that's a dealbreaker. Calk's 6.5 demo rom sold me on it, I loved no bloat, no manilla, no titanium! Once I find a rom that's stable enough, I'm going to pay for it! Since I already bought spb backup, I get 20% off & I definitely think it's worth the $24!!! If you like it, maybe you'll make a bloatfree rom too!!!!
