Re: Obviously Stable ROM | Updated 12/25 | All Carriers | 21876 | 25MB PP Titanium/SP

MrObvious

1. Could you tell me which version of the HTC keyboard you cooked into the SPB ROM? It's labbeled as TOuch Input. It's an amazing keyboard. On a side note you have a very poor keyboard cooking into your non-spb rom.

1a. Would you be able/willing to make a cab installer for that Touch Input keybaord?

2. Is there a way to update SPB shell without re-cooking it? I tried to install a newer version and it didn't work.

3. Great rom! So far it's been very stable and good on battery life. Getting between 6 and 14 hours depending on my usage.

Sorry I missed your post.

1) I think it's called EzInput 1.5. A cab exists at XDA.

2) Maybe via cabs but it may take me updating. You could always use my Titanium ROM and cab install SPB.

3) Thanks.

But I will flash the 12-25 SPB and see if I can get the bug worked out.

Wow odd. I never have had any problems with the Start Menu streaking except when I didn't do the shipped dance. It usually means a bad flash but it could be the build I'm using too. Maybe if I can get my hands on a different build of WM that is known to be good I can use that. Let me try building a new ROM with a different build and see if it is any better. But that said I cooked a ROM based off of my base build and just threw in Manila 1 and so far have not had any streaking. Let me try that different build with a different build of Opera and see if it works any better. (I'm going back to a way older build but it should work for Opera.)

Re: Obviously Stable ROM | Updated 12/25 | All Carriers | 21876 | 25MB PP Titanium/SP

Hi,

Im very new to flashing this phone..I did install the titanium one at first, loved it btw, then decided to use the SPB, I too have the scrolling...its odd, when you repeatedly tap the start menu, it jumps back n forth between the titanium icons, and the spb...when scrolling, it will streak regardless, I have to power my phone off to stop this..It fully loaded the titanium version after I have the spb installed, but this only happened once.....but I think its a very well worked ROM...and by far I like it compared to others

Mr O

Scrolling-streaking from the start menu is not a huge deal as I use SPB to navigate. Really like your ROM

Yeah but I want this ROM to work. Ugh. Is it just SPB that is doing it or are you guys getting it with the Titanium only ROM too?

only experienced this with the spb.......when you press the today icon under the "launcher" in spb, it will load the titanium screen and streak that home screen aswell as menu, phone needs to be restarted for spb to load again..

I'm pretty sure the start menu streaking comes from using an older .tsk theme.
