So far, after 2 days, I'm in love. I have not yet figured out how to "root" the device so that I can play with alternate roms, but truthfully, it does everything I need so far. I had to downgrade with Sprint in order to get a "better" plan (all inclusive) but the nice thing is Navigation is built in, and it works well. Very responsive, and the keyboard is easy enough to work without a styllus (which won't work, by the way).

Hey guys, long time lurker/user of the fantastic EnergyRom.

I know I should probably be able to find a solution for this by searching, as I normally do, but for whatever reason my google-fu is failing me:

On the latest builds, Google Maps is for whatever reason not using my gps to locate me, only cell towers or whatever (to within like 1km). I remember on the older versions you had to turn the GPS use on in the menu ("USE GPS"). Only, now this checkbox is gone and it simply wont use the GPS. Ha anyone else encountered this?

Edit: I Should note, using the GPS test program, everything seems to be working fine.

Hey guys, I haven't flashed my rom since Oct 25(Standard), and I checked today there seems to be alot more updates, but which one is the most stable one? Cause I have been reading through the forums and I am finding alot problems but people are not specific to which rom they are talking about..thx

sure, look at the hotfile. one is 28004 standard which is tf2.1, one is 28004 tf2.5.

this is tough to answer, I think they're all stable, just may require some tweaking after the fact, especially with the 2.5 releases. the best thing to do is try out the latest standard 2.1 rom and see how it compares to Oct25th. both are 2.1 thereby comparing apples to apples. The 2.5 are getting better but still a work in progress. good luck.

Thanks for the great ROM NRG! Can someone tell me how to disable the vibrate feedback when pressing the hardware keys? Its driving me nuts!
