This was my first Manila 2.5 install and now I see what all the fuss is about from everyone regarding space issues. Almost immediately I had issues with the space notifications. Anyway I just uninstalled Opera 10 like most people suggested and reinstalled it to Internal Storage. Is there anything else that I can do short of recooking the ROM to get some more space back? As of now I don't see a need to do any more but should the need arise in the future I'd like to take a stab at saving more space before I dump 2.5 and go back to 2.1.

One huge error I did notice was that when I'm receiving a call I see the light flashing but I can't answer it. The OS doesn't change screens, I can't see who's calling and nothing I press allows me to answer the call. Anyone else getting this problem?
Hi from post 4: if you take out the widgets, you will get another 4mbs!

Question 3: How do I free up memory even more memory on the latest 2.5 roms?
Answer: With the addition of tf2.5 roms, memory on the our Diamonds is becoming a challenge. 2.5 takes up a tremendous amount of space. There are a couple quick things you can do to give you about 6 mb more space post flash. If you dont use widgets, use total commander(installed on this rom) and go to device memory>Program Files and delete widgets. (this alone will free up 4 mbs.(Thanks Mystery!) Secondly if you dont use google maps, go to Start>Settings>System>Remove Programs and remove it. Once again this will save you another 2mb. Lastly you can use total commander again>Windows>Ringtones and delete Sony ringtones which can save you another 1 mb. Lastly as before, be sure to apply Opera Cache to internal storage and install clear temps to clean it regularly along with IE cache, Google maps, etc

Regarding the ringing issue, not sure why but this is occurring. If you change the ringtone to ring01-windowsphone, ring02, or ring03, it should start working. for some reason, these seem to be the 3 that will work and stick. try changing using the htc sense settings tab, sounds. Hope this helps.

If there's a specific ringtone that you particularly like, do you think renaming it to one of those three would make it work? If someone tries this, let us know if it works or not.

Do the newest 6.5.X builds have that hidden menu in the top left corner, where the old start menu was?

Does anyone know how to get rid of the bottom menu bar on the 11/25/09 Rom release? I tried NueNobar 2.0, but it doesn't work on this version. It only gets rid of the softmenu, but the bar is still there.

thanks..

I've been running the Nov. 25 28004 M2.5 ROM all day, and haven't had a single issue! It's great! Thanks NRG!

I would do the flash dance, especially when going from one WM build to another or when changing Manila versions. I'd also suggest it after using a ROM for a while before flashing a new one. I always do the dance, just because I think it's better to be safe than sorry, you know?

Are you talking about the 6.5.X bottom bar or the soft keys on 6.5? I'm pretty sure it's important either way, though, especially in 6.5.X....

No, I'm not talking about the Bottom Start menu bar that's in version 6.5.x. This is for build 21876. I'm talking about the bottom bar. In the previous version of EnergyROM, I was able to remove it by using NueNoBar 2.0. But in the current ROM release. It doesn't remove it.
