Just to let people know. I've installed
EnergyROM_21869_VICTOR_21.Nov.2009_StandardM2.5.ra r

Here's what I've found:

- Graphic bug using the Manila mod for setting time in a new appointment:

I know it's probably a bug of the Manila 2.5 files but it's just to let NRG knows.


- YouTube not working. * It is suppose to work by changing some registry keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\YouTube]
"BandWidth"=dword:00000000 changed to 1
"EnableMDP"=dword:00000001 changed to 0

- By pressing the "Log out" button of the Account Manager and choosing "No" at the confirmation will actually seems to log out anyway. When returning to the twitter tab, it will looks like you're logged out. You won't be able to log out again except if you do a soft reset. That's what I did and now it works like before.

- I don't know if it's just me but, some of my contacts don't have the little "F" icon next to their pictures even if they seem linked to their Facebook profile. But they apparently don't have any updates on their Facebook so I don't know if it's normal.

- Some dates are overlapping the SMS text in the manila SMS tab...

* There's a couple of issues with the SMS tab. It works good but sometimes there's some graphic bugs or it happened to me a couple of time that I wasn't able to hide the keyboard by pressing the appropriate button...

- The graphic square of the calender can be fix by reading and doing what it is written in this post:

Thanks for pointing out all the other bugs, which I have not noticed, but the FB one I have - this manila build is not properly pulling facebook info automatically into out contacts

actually overall this 2.5 build seem worse that the one in the Nov 15 rom

what were the improvements made ?

Honestly I prefer the Nov 15 build. There's some minor changes but I don't know. With this build I can't even install TomTom because there's not enough place.

I've also made all the possible tricks to save space too... :/

I have 28002 loaded and have a few issues.

No short cut to today screen & vis-versa, Voic co0mmand isn't working, twitter hangs everyother time and haven't been able to update. Codding errors in the edit contact info It read <FDMID>983431</FDMID?<sn></sn>

Missing page for picking which emails to delete. right now you if the email is NOT the very next email am having to open that email close it then delete. Yipes;

Bluetooth NOT working at all. Not only is there no lists installed it can't find it and when you exit the program, have to restart the phone because all communications are shut off even though it shows phone and data connections are set to on. Yipse big time.

Hope they are working on this. Like his work.

I also tried 28002 and it still has the GSM options in the phone settings. I think there was a fix? But I can't find it.
Text messaging is also a PITA to use it use manila and it's slow as hell even the keyboard lags. At least it's working.

Has anyone noticed a problem with the ringing? Seems like it will play the ringtone sometimes and not others. I recieved calls while holding the phone and it never rang, while other times it has. Am I the only one?

this has been going on in a couple different roms lately. not sure why, but ring01-windowsphone, ring02-velvet seem to work for me. try setting these and reset. hope it works.
