it's not as simple as renaming the radio.nb to radio.nbh & flashing w/the usual RUU is it..?

*edit* Nevermind, thanks to jakdillard's post here - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...58&postcount=4

i've managed to extract, port, and re-package the radio for our diamonds -

Hey guys,
Can someone run some power tests on this Radio to determine what kind of drain it produces on the battery. Would love to compare it to the 1.03.09 Verizon one. Thanks. (I would do this , but am not sure how or what utility to use)

the ones in the first post are all packaged to be flashed to a cmda diamond without interfering with the rom. So you can flash them without losing your personal information and programs. Good luck.

try downloading, if i remember correctly they are already packaged in an RUU that will not hard-reset your phone.

just give it a try!

Hmm... I never knew it was the RUU that determined a hard reset. I always just assumed it was something the ROM.nbh file had in it that the RADIO.nbh file didn't.

If that's right I wonder what would happen if you dropped a ROM.nbh into a RADIO RUU and tried to flash? I'm not gonna be the lab rat, I just would like to know, lol!

Much appreciated
have you tried flashing the stock ROM w/that radio? then just flash whatever custom rom you want to retain the desired radio.
