Re: CDMA Diamond Radios

all the radios, from pretty much all carriers, are posted i believe.

the reason you can "only pull a radio from a shipped rom" is b/c 99% of the ROMs you find are strictly OS roms which don't contain a radio.

what carrier/radio are you looking for..? may be found over on EDTP if it's not here - http://www.everythingdiamond.info/showthread.php?t=43

I don't think anyone will have my stock radio, I use MTS carrier which is only Manitoba. I can try to find my radio version to show you but I know forsure thats its different. I had Tobeychris convert my phone dump to Rom for me a while back and it's now posted on his page.

i see the TP has the new 1.12.34F sprint radio, i would be happy to port/post it if i had some instructions to follow.

*i've managed to extract the radio.nb... working on packaging it up for us diamond users... anyone got any tips/info..?

it's not as simple as renaming the radio.nb to radio.nbh & flashing w/the usual RUU is it..?

*edit* Nevermind, thanks to jakdillard's post here - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...58&postcount=4

i've managed to extract, port, and re-package the radio for our diamonds -

Has anyone tried this radio. How is the performance? Power Readings? I have previously used 1.03.09 and found that to be the best. How does the new radio compare to that one?

Try flashing another shipped rom from a different/your provider and then upgrading the radio? Flashing a shipped updates your radio too.

Re: CDMA Diamond Radios

hey, i live in toronto and am on telus network, already on the latest radio. but, i have been wondering if there is something better out there. i had no idea i could flash any other carrier's radio. are there trade offs like certain carriers offer faster data while others offer better reception. also, if i use data while on other radio, will i incur data charges?
thanks
