It's not really necessary to flash back to the shipped unless you are experiencing weirdness, but if you do want to do so, I use the one found here:

cool, they switched on the page to the new shipped rom which I have been using anyway. Will touch base after I play around a little with this rom. Youdaman!!

Great Rom DryBonz!

I have been running for the day, and only have a couple questions:

1) I have a world icon with a R on it in my taskbar. What is this and how do I get rid of it?
2) Could you add the latest Rhodium contact manager that includes Facebook tab?


Besides these two things I love the ROM and plan to stick with it as it grows.

Thanks... I appreciate your feedback, and I'm glad you like it.

Can you post a screenie of the icon you are seeing? It sounds like probably it's a replacement RevA icon that got mixed in with the battery, which I can fix.

The Rhodium contact manager included is the latest version. There was some discussion previously in the thread regarding facebook. You may want to search that up. Please try the official facebook app, which is now included in the rom.

Rom is great! lightning fast tf, clean refined wallpaper and theme and taskbar, programs all work as they should. Amazing how good this works being the second release. Nice job man.

Only thing I've noticed is occasional hiccups with flip it and screen orientation but that is to be expected. every rom I tried flip it with has some minor lag or orientation issues but nothing to lose sleep over. still going through it. by the way, facebook app is very clean compared to going through the web, just a little on the message tab. Thanks

hey, decided to try your rom out. it's going pretty smooth. i do have the issue with the phone being stuck in landscape. i don't even have flip it enabled.. i installed the fix, but usually i notice it after closing opera or hitting the home button..

another issue i've noticed, not sure if it has been brought up, when moving your finger across the different tabs, the icon shows up low and the back ground is black. seems like i recall it being pretty centered on the screen and the background not being black.

rom overall is smooth though. i'm enjoying it. keep it up.

If you are running the 1.1a version the screen rotation fix is preinstalled and you will not have this problem. If you are not running 1.1a, please upgrade, as you should have a better experience.

The other thing you mention I have never seen and I'm guessing it's not something you will be seeing consistently, but feel free to keep me informed.

Thanks, Riley... screen rotation is about as good as I have seen on any rom, although I know what you mean... it does sometimes seem a little laggy.

You might want to play with your GSensor polling. You can find the reg key at HKLM>Drivers>BuiltIn>GSensor>PollingInterval. The default setting will be 1000, but you can lower it to change how often the device checks to see if it should rotate the screen. I wouldn't set it lower than about 500, and you can expect to take AT LEAST a minor hit on battery life, which is why I don't lower the setting by default.

i just had the ringer issue where my phone simply does not ring. it's been happening on the past few builds of intx rom as well. texts will sound, but not the ringer.

thought i had 1.1a, going to double check that now. thanks

Ringer issue is the major bug report with Calkulin's latest kitchen. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I am keeping an eye on the issue.
