The new version fixed the only issue I've been able to find. Very, very solid! My guess is that the camera issue will resolve itself as we get closer to the actual release of the Topaz/Diamond2. Pretty much a non issue with me since I use the camera maybe once a month, if that...

Hey bones, in 1.1, the camera worked for me... and in intx's rhodium the camera is working as well.... just giving some info, cause if this gets fixed I won't need to flash for a long long time... this rom seems to be perfect!!!!

The camera bug is intermittent, so it may have seemed like it was working, but you actually still had the bug. I know exactly when the camera bug was introduced, and it was before I publicly released this rom.

If you get the camera bug effect you can get rid of it, at least temporarily, by soft resetting.

Please be sure that I am keeping an eye on the issue and will do anything I can to permanently resolve it, as soon as it is possible.

another thing that is wierd about 1.4 that wasn't in 1.0 is I have a rotation flaw. In manilla your recent builds have been laggy when going into landscape mode while using flip it. It is about 4 seconds to rotate in 1.4 and 1.0 is about 1 second.... I know in intx's rom changing the background picture does this same thing, but yours is doing this from the start using stock wallpaper.... Anyhow I just reflashed 1.0 to make sure I wasn't going crazy, and I'm not. 1.4 has way more lag only going into landscape then 1.0 had.... So i don't know if you did something different with the wallpaper or what not but this and the camera which has already been addressed are the only 2 flaws.....

Could you go back to the way 1.0 was with the wallpaper so that the rotation works correctly???

And is there a cab for the new notification enhancements, I think I am going to stick with 1.0 until the lag issue is resolved with 1.4

There have been no changes. The rotation in manila on this device is not consistent. The lag "issue" will not be resolved because there has not been any changes. You may want to lower your gsensor setting, or check to see that you don't have anything running in the background. The device is sometimes slow to rotate the manila screens because it is more to process than, say, the programs folder, or your sms screen. It is just a graphically more intense process for the device, and there may be something running that's causing it to slow down.

That's the only thing I can think to tell you. Mine is rotating just like it always was.

*edit* Except for restoring the tab headers, which I seriously doubt would be causing this for you, or that anyone would want me to unfix.

yeah it's cool man, I was just reporting stuff for you.... I was so happy with 1.0 I can just stick with this for now, and I will flash 1.5 whenever that comes out.... It is a wierd thing and INTX's rom has the same issue, so apparently he is coooking in his background on his next rom to prevent this....

But I am a huge fan of this rom, and thanks so much for putting it together.... But is there a cab for the new topaz notification manager? I did love that in 1.4....????

Sorry if this question has ben asked already, but is anyone having an issue with the phone failing to ring, call comes through, just no ring?

yeah soft reset, and your back in buisness this sin't rom specific, it's an occasional glitch with many roms right now.... Soft reset, then if I were you set the phone to ring and vibrate in the phone settings... that way if it doesn't ring it will still vibrate.... But this is rare....

I will see if adding the wallpaper to the manila files will make any difference. Currently, what is happening with the wallpaper, if you are curious, is that is resides on your main storage and is selected, as a wallpaper, during the customization process, the same way you would choose a wallpaper through the settings tab. This is the same way I have done it since the first release. I list everything I have changed in the changelog so that we can pinpoint if any change I have made might be causing some new issue. That being said, if there is a known fix for something that I can try, I am willing to check into it. So we will see what happens... keep your fingers crossed.

As for the topaz notification manager, the cab that I found did not work, and other people also were reporting issues with it, but you are welcome to search around and see if you can find one.

Please read the thread/search for answers to your questions before posting. You will find that this has already been discussed, as pask said is a known issue, and that I posted a cab file earlier as an experimental fix for this issue.

By the way, did anyone find that the cab I posted resolved this issue for them? I didn't hear back from anyone one way or the other, and have never experienced the ringer bug myself (of course I always auto-install that cab after flashing so I wouldn't know if it is the fix or not).
