Hey bones. one think i noticed about nueclock settings u have. I stream music from pocket last fm or just listing to mp3s a lot. Had problems with it skipping but found out it was when the backlight goes off the proccesor was running too slow. I set it to 122.88mhz and seems to have fixxed the problem.

Good find... somebody else mentioned that problem a couple pages ago. I'm testing a new version of nueClock now. I will let you know how it goes.

*edit* I have changed the default settings for nueClock for the next version to give more power with backlight off.

Re: 4-24-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 1-7 [Rhodium 6.1 21028]

The first post has been updated with the download link for version 1.7.

FAQ has been updated with basic instructions for Custom Scroll. I have kind of been updating the blog as I go.

This version took a little work, and a lot of testing and flashing, so I am kind of tired of working on it. Hopefully the results are good and you enjoy it. Keep the feedback coming.

There has been so much going on with the kitchens and so forth the last couple days that everything was getting a little muddled up at the end, but I did my best to test out all the bugs. I think it turned out pretty well, but I am looking forward to hearing from you guys.

One thing I will say is that you may want to set the nueDynamicClock "after system is idle" setting back up to 384 Mhz. It may not make much difference, but I kind of feel like things are a little snappier that way.

This is my first Rhodium ROM and I gotta say I am really likign it a lot. I have been running 6.5 ROMs for a while, but I like how this just works when I need it to...Great Job!!

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. Let me know what things you like, specifically, after you have run it for a while.

Thanks again.

Re: 4-24-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 1-7 [Rhodium 6.1 21028]

If, by any chance, you get an issue where your screen looks funny when your device wakes up, this is due to nueDynamicClock.

You can fix this by turning the screen back off, and then back on.

It should be pretty rare on the version of the app we are using (you may not get it at all), so if you get it don't panic. It will be fixed in a future version of the app... the developer is one of the best around.

Just a heads up.

*edit* Also... it's pretty quiet in here... 1.7 working out ok for everyone?

It's working great for me so far! I love the speed of this ROM, it really is very fast. As much as I like 6.5, and I know everyone has there opinions as to this, I just like the ease of touchflo myself. The only thing I have noticed, and I think it's because I'm anal (detail oriented, whatever you want to call me) is the text messages...I like the layout of the new text screen when you actually click the message from the Text tab, but I don't like that it doesn't recognize first letter capitalized in a sentence. And I kept hitting back when I meant to send since they switched the button placements up (that's my fault).

There are a bunch of programs I have never seen before in here, so I am looking forward to playing with them today before work and seeing what they do.

Long story short (even though it wasn't) I am REALLY enjoying this very much...I am looking forward to seeing how it gets better.
