I have changed the default FingerKeyboard skin and layout for the next version of the rom. Skins and layouts will still be able to be added/modified, as usual... the one you see pictured will be the default though.

*edit* In case anyone wants to add a keyboard skin... it can be added in the Windows>Skins folder.

I have added, by default, a games folder button to the program launcher. I intend to do more additional customization to the program launcher. This will, in no way prevent you from changing the buttons... it will just be a new default layout.

Cinci, I checked on this icon and it is, in fact, a replacement "roaming indicator" icon from Misfortune's taskbar, that I still had mixed in with the customized one that I use in the rom.

Bottom line is that I will have it changed back to the original white roaming icon in a future version of the rom.

Thanks for pointing it out... as I have been around home lately, and not roaming, I may not have noticed it for some time.

*edit* I just realized I can't remember what the default roaming icon is... is it the white triangle?

THANKYOU for changing that awful green/gray default skin! That skin is what prompted me to try to make my own.

I have to say that I really like this ROM. I am having a tough time deciding between yours and intx. I think you two have the best ROMs out right now. One major thing I look for in a chef is lack of attitude. I used to use ROMs made by another very popular chef until his ego took over and totally turned me off.

Your blog is a great idea BTW. Keep up the good work man!=D>

Oh yeah... I'm downloading 1.1a now. Will give it a whirl and let you know.

Thanks for the input Watzone. I'm glad you are liking it... and thanks to you and Reef for everything you have done on FingerKeyboard. It is awesome.

Please be aware that 1.2 may be sooner than later.

*edit* Also, I tried a recent version of intx's rom and it was quite good.

Watzone69 has made some skin cab's just for the cooked in version. Add's it straight to the skin folder in windows. Check out the Finger keyboard thread or just click the link in Watzone69's sig for the link to the skin's.

Watzone's skins are awesome! and I encourage everyone to check out that thread and find the one that is best for you. I am going to use the basic grey one because it looks decent and is very basic as a default, but I think everyone should check out Watzone's work!

*edit* Unrelated... the next rom version will have prefilled program launcher buttons. This is just for your convenience, and they will still be editable. I, in fact, don't even use the layout that will be default on the rom, I just thought people might like a default layout.

Sorry to get off the subject there. The gray is perfect for this ROM, and it is one that i use a lot. Goes great with your theme. Looking forward to 1.2.

I agree. The gray is perfect. My skins are totally just for individual personalization later. Heck, sometimes I change skins for different days, moods, etc...

Thanks guys. It really means a lot to me because you have both brought so much to the PPCG community and your opinions matter to me.

OKAY, back to the ROM. I think I'll hold off flashing for now if 1.2 is coming relatively soon.

About the taskbar, sometimes I have the cool circular ones and sometimes I have the stock white ones. Especially the signal strength (which I know how to fix) and the speaker. Is this taskbar still a work in progress or is there a setting I need to change to totally replace the stock icons? I really like this one!
