Some good resources that you can use as a starting point are the Sashimi documentation that comes with the Sashimi download, the Sashimi forums (see the link in the FAQ), and this website... there is a ton of information already documented in these forums, just search it up. Also, there is a whole section on the registry here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27 if you want to post additional questions. |

I know that sashimi will run xml, so you can convert your rgu to xml. You can also cab your red edits, which is what I do sometimes. Check out this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=39470 EDIT: Sorry if that was too off-topic, Bonz. |

Re: 5-27-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-9 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21725]
Just when I thought my battery life on my phone was spent (still the original battery that came with my Diamond), It still holds a charge very well on 2.9 I actually had the phone off the charger for 2 days - (that's unheard of from how many flashes I've done on this phone).
If I was to buy a new battery for this phone, I can only imagine how good the life would be on 2.9 +. I really think that this ROM helped me avoid buying a new battery when I really thought I needed one - And, on top of that, I have Google Sync running as an Active Sync service in the background 24/7 ! edit: and it's still funny when people ask me in public "What kind of phone is that? . THat's so cool" .. I always reply something like "It's not an Iphone" .. they always look confused. haha. Then I smack them in the face. J/k about the last part. |

I'm glad your battery life is good and that you didn't have to buy a new battery. It's always nice to save money on things like that. |

Hey Drybonz!
I'm back to your ROM. I've been playing with calku's last kitchen for a while but your 21725 version is terrific! Almost perfect. My only problem is that the HTC phone s2a is delaying the first ring a lot. It stars flashing on the 1st ring but stard rigning and vibrating at the 3rd or 4th ring. Can I disable the htc s2a and use the wm65 s2a or is there a way to reduce the delay of the first ring? Thx!

Re: 5-27-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-9 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21725]
Hey all! I gues I need to try this 2.9 version. 2.7 worked so well I had stopped updating. I cant wait to see the new system in action though.
Now for my one issue with the ROM. Glight is giving me fits! I know you wrote the settings into the ROM so we wouldnt have to mess with them, but to be honest those settings are not making full use of the battery saving potential glight offers(my opinion of course) I see you have the minimum backlight set to level 4. I tried to go in and reconfigure the settings and it bugs up the phone like crazy. Anything I change starts causing errors with glight and if I keep messing with it eventually the program stops running all together. After that trying to open the settings just give the error/quit pop up and the only way to fix it is to hard reset. Am I doing something wrong or is it because of the way you have it installed?
