i havnt had any problems with glight. seems much easier to set exception on it. and u can calibrate it to the lighting conditions easier cause it tells u the light level on the same screen where set them. once i had a problem with it when i set an exception to 10 and then set the max level on glight to 9 or 8.

I understand how to adjust the settings, at least I think I do. You set the senor level range and the backlight level you want glight to use when the sensor detects those settings. Problem is it wont let me change your settings without throwing errors. I may be doing something wrong but I dont know how.

Attached are my settings (which I have greatly adjusted from Drybonz's.) Try replacing the file and see if you still get errors. (or just open it up and look at what it should look like versus what you are having trouble with.)

P.S. the file goes in \Program Files\Ageye\G-Light

Sometimes if you accidentally have a "gap" or "overlap" in the numbers in your settings it will cause an error.

Against my better judgment, I have updated the first post with the option to show your appreciation for this rom by making a monetary donation. I am accepting donations temporarily, and the proceeds will help me pick up a Touch Pro 2 when they are available.

This is completely optional... if you are tight on cash, please don't feel obligated to do this... I am in the same situation myself, and can't make donations to people even though I often feel they are deserved.

Whether or not you can/want to make a donation, I want to thank all of you for helping me develop this rom.

On a side note... 3.0 is in the works and is shaping up nicely.

*edit* Also... I have some teaser screenshots posted with the new taskbar in the first post. I can tell you that the new taskbar looks wayyyy better on the device. The screenshots don't do it justice.

Thanks thats working. I dont know why it didnt work when I tried it. I did it pretty much the same way except I tried to set level 8 9 and 10 to -1 so that level 7 would be the maximum used.

New taskbar looks great! thanks for the teaser shots! Looks like Gadgetfreak did some awesome work. Great stuff man. As for donations, you're right its not required, but for all the time that we spend here, its the least we can do if we have some dough to spare to say thanks for your support in this forum. Frankly many probably aren't aware of the amount of time you have spent helping others in Calcu's thread and many others way before you started this rom. Afterall, you can spend 15 bucks just going to grab a bite to eat, Bonz and others spend tons of their personal time for us, I see it as a no brainer
