Well, I hope so anyway. I try to do small updates so I won't screw anything up in the process, but the 6.5 sys's are coming fast. Which is good, however, it means I have to update a lot more stuff more often. So any feedback you guys give me is appreciated.

Bonz.... Tried out Mighty 5 and immediately went back to 2.8... Messenger doesnt seem to be working in your latest ROM which is a big necessity for business communications here in our data center.

Can you look into this?

2ndly... Noticed that continual flashing from 2.6 > 2.7 > 2.8 caused 2.8 flash to not load past your Winmo screen.

Had to go back 2 factory and then flash. Might wanna mention that or might not...

There is no problem with the clock. It installs during customizations on this rom so it sounds like your customizations are not completing correctly. You said you flashed back to the stock Sprint rom which is not my recommended procedure. If you want my advice take a look at the instructions for flashing back to shipped in my FAQ in post #2.

*edit* This is all assuming that you are not applying any of your own customizations, which would be a more likely cause of this.

Hi,

I followed your FAQ to the letter with the shipped ROM and I still have the same issue, the white box at the top left on every tab on TF3D and the clock is all white with all zeros with no time updates. By the way, while the customizations are running the screen goes blank. I would just press the power key to wake up the screen until the word reset shows up and it reboots itself. Is this normal?

Any other ideas?

Thanks for bringing Messenger to my attention. I don't use it and would not have noticed. I will get it fixed for you.

As far as the flashing back to "factory"... this is well known and is all already covered in my FAQ. It is an issue that affects all roms, it is not specific to any one rom.

The screen going blank during customizations is just because the customizations are taking longer than they used to and the screen is timing out. Pressing power to wake it up is fine... I do the same thing.

As far as your clock problem, I can't say more than I did originally. Either:

1) Your customizations are not completing correctly and the clock is not being installed (which is an issue no one else has reported)

2) You are installing some other item that is breaking the clock.

i saw that g-alarm isn't the newest from what i read either.. it's the same as the last version i downloaded. but i think they have actually came out with like 3 newer releases. i haven't looked into it though as i dont really have problems with the version you include.

It was discussed earlier in the thread. Versions newer than the one we are using are now commercial and will not be included.
