I really don't want to answer the same question for each version of the rom. That's why it's in the FAQ.

question. Should the battery life of 6.5 be worse than 6.1 no matter what? Or could it be the same?

Well, there was some pretty big variance even on 6.1, so a lot of it is going to depend on one person's experience to the next. Look, for instance at your stock 6.1 experience with the Diamond out of the box. Probably was pretty bad. I find the current Bear-Bonz to be way better than that. So, yeah... I would say it can even be better than 6.1 with all the variables mixed in.

I am currently testing a 21725 build. WIP is updated. Thanks to Indagroove for the sys.

MyPhone is fixed. Still working on Messenger. Opera 16453 is fully working... I'm not completely overwhelmed with it, but the flash movie on the Blockbuster website is working fine so I guess that is the flash test right?

Anyway, this is what you have to look forward to in the near future.

Re: 5-25-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ V 2-8 *Swine-Flu Edition* [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 212

Just flashed to 2.8 - first time using a BB Rom...looking good so far

One issue I have (I looked thru FAQs and searched this thread but didn't see anything related), when I go to the Weather tab, TF3D seem to restart and the Weather never comes up.

I did do the flash to shipped Rom route, before flashing BB 2.8. Also, I did install the Weather Database cab I have since I usually add my city info being that it's not in the default city list.

We talked not too long ago about troubleshooting and I'm gonna do a couple tips on that subject now.

If you are having a problem that no one else seems to be reporting, such as crashing of the weather tab, the first thing you want to do is to look at things you are installing to see if any of them might be related. In the example above, you have already done this and identified that you are installing a cab that directly effects the item you are having trouble with.

However, the next step in the troubleshooting is to actually test it to see if you can fix the problem on your own. The way you would do this is the hard reset and then NOT install the item that might be affecting your weather tab.

Here is another tip I have for some of you new guys that are trying this rom, or in fact, any other rom, for the first time. The items you are installing on this rom will not all be necessary, and in fact, may break things if you install them all on another rom. That's why I highly recommend that you DON'T do an auto-install with Sashimi or whatever method you use the first time you are trying a new rom. Install your items manually to find out which ones you want to keep, and which ones don't work on the new rom. Only set up an autoinstall once you find a rom you want to stick with.

Rom hopping is fine... I used to do it a bit myself... it's fun to try them all out... however, lump installing all the same stuff on every rom you try and expecting it to all work is a party foul.

couldn't agree with you more. If you flash a lot, it's best to set up your phone manually each time, that's why I don't use sashimi. there are so many things already cooked into this rom and others. great tip Bonz!

Thanks, Riley. Guys, I just want to clarify that I highly recommend Sashimi, it is a great tool, but as Riley said, if you change up roms all the time, like he does, it is maybe not your best option. If you are going to use it, just be smart about your troubleshooting.

I have been using this rom for about 3 days now and i think that its one of the best i have used, other than a couple programs such as PIMbackup that i had to install manually but thats no big deal.

I have used 2 versions of Mighty Rom and resseboys WM6.5 rom, both great roms, this one is just my first choice...

Keep up the good work everyone!

Thanks... if you can tell me what things about it made you like it better than other roms you have used, that is the type of specific feedback that gives me ideas for future versions.

Thanks again.
