Re: 5-11-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-4 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21222]

I've been lurching for months now and I've played with every ROM out there: Juicy, Calkulin, Mighty, Groove, Mystery... This is the best thing I've tried yet. Great job!

Install the cab I posted a couple pages ago, soft reset, then tell me if you see any improvement.

Read posts 943 and 944. Is this what you did? It doesn't have anything to do with any kind of weird bug or WM 6.5 not recognizing Rhodium, etc etc... it is just registry settings.

Yeah. This ROM treats me the best, so it's all I use. If you want a chef that listens and replies immediately to the end-users, this is your ROM!

Yeah, there are several floating around out there. The bliss one looks nice. Glad you like the rom.

On a side note guys... I don't install any themes from cab and I have no idea which ones, if any, will work out for you... and while they may work out great for you, you are totally on your own with that.

Re: 5-11-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-4 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21222]

This ROm is Sick, smooth. And every program I've installed works too. Modem tethering seems to work better, or is it just me? I never have the disconnect notification that I used to get all of the time on other roms.

What's also unique with this ROM is the cool background that is integrated throughout the ROM.. it's the main "theme"..but What I'm saying is that IF i get bored with Rhodium TF3d, I can switch today screens and load the 6.5 features..(i'll never give up the Rhodium calendar though).. works too smoothly in this rom to give it up.

I appreciate specific feedback, like this, regarding what you guys like in the rom. All your feedback is greatly appreciated, but when you give me specifics about what you like, as well as what doesn't work for you, it really helps me get ideas about what direction to go in for future releases... so thanks for doing that.

Re: 5-11-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-4 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21222]

Recent bug I have noticed: When I lock the phone vie the start menu and receive a call both the windows and htc slide to answer things pop up and unless I can slide them both over in time I miss the call.

As for specific things I like, I have to echo Randylist -- all of my programs (including the ones that chew up memory like pocketwit) just work in this ROM. In other ROMs I was constantly resetting to deal with memory issues.
I also like the lack of a facebook tab in contacts, smoothness of start menu and tab scrolling, the battery meter displaying at all times, the battery life, background 4 all pages, and Rhodium.
Also I have not once experienced the no ringer bug that has been plaguing 6.5 ROMs.

Programs wise I like the inclusion of Lumos, the facebook app, and google translate (which I hadn't tried before.) IE 6 also seems to run bug free which was just plain unusable in other ROMs

Most importantly this ROM is stable. I have not soft reset my phone at all today and maybe not yesterday either.
