Re: [ May 16 \ 21046 & 21232 v4.7 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

Another question about something I've noticed.
When typing using the Rhodium KB, it doesn't automatically switch (and won't stay switched if toggled manually) when entering a new word in T9.
I'll explain in more detail if this isn't clear.

My sincere apologies if this was covered before. I tried to follow the discussion about the glssblack theme a few pages back, but most of it was way over my head.
Thanks!

By the way, Calk: Loving the latest kitchen! By far the fastest 6.5 build I've tried and I haven't had a single issue so far.

There is indeed. I did just that (although not with the Blue Drop). I used WinCe Cab Manager to change the background images for the GlossBlack theme. There is a more official way of doing it, which is to edit the registry settings for the Blue Drop theme to refer to the Glossblack top and bottom bars. If all you want is the background changed to Blue Drop, let me know and i'll try and upload it.

You mean the clock icon show in the upper right of the screenshots below?

I thought update-1 already has that fix? I already applied it.

Actually, I don't even use the blue drop background, I just like all of the windows elements that Blue Drop uses (blue highlights, menu bars and whatnot). All I want is to use the glossblack bars with everything else that Blue Drop uses. I don't even particularly care about editing the theme in the kitchen, if there's an easy way to replace those files or references or whatever in an already installed ROM...

So just the top and bottom bars on the home screen?

See if this gives you what you want. It includes the Blue Drop background too. The bars are semi-transparent so depending on your background image, it may not show as true black, but on all the menus it will.

Re: [ May 16 \ 21046 & 21232 v4.7 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

Can I update G-Alarm with rom version 4.7 TP2? I tried to update it, but it didn't give me the option to remove the previous version. Anyway of removing the previous version?

Thanks,

Re: [ May 16 \ 21046 & 21232 v4.7 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

How do I revert back to the stock HTC/Windows taskbar from the 4.7 TP2 Rom? In other words, I prefer the wifi, signal strength, speaker, and battery life HTC indications versus the fancier ones with the latest rom.

Thanks,

GP
