Back to more general questions. In the System section of the kitchen, what does having the Widgets selection do if no TF3D is selected? Needed for a WM6.5 ROM?

It works (at least the regedits, I have not tried the cab). What does it say in your registry for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Bubble: BubbleBorderThemeImage and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Toast:T oastBorderThemeImage? If there is any string value (like a path to an image), delete it, soft reset, and it should not pop up anymore.

I just tried the cab that Calk suggested.
I'm trying the edits to the Kitchen suggested by an earlier post you suggested right now.

The first key you mention doesn't exist.
The second one has a bunch of things below it... delete all of them?
