The notify.dll that was used to change one of the taskbar icons was German. It has since been fixed.

Yep, did that.
I also had a suspicion that it might be the icon itself, so I posted the same thing in the thread where I got those taskbar icons.
Sure enough, it was a known issue. TSOwen directed me to a previous thread that I couldn't find- but I just went and redownloaded the dll files. I reinstalled the "reminder" one... now I'm just waiting for a reminder to see if it worked.

@opuscroakus: Sorry, as I mentioned here, I didn't know the cause and I had posted in this thread first. Didn't mean to get your panties in a bunch with the cross-post.

Follow-up: Reinstalling the reminder dll worked. Reminders are in English now.

I noticed this yesterday as well.
I usually have my phone on a charger in the car- but I went to a basketball game out of town and by the time the game was over [+ dinner] my battery was below 50%. 2.5 hours ride home without charger and I was at around 20%. A total of 6 hours off of charger- 15 short calls (no more than 15 minutes talk time), a bunch of texts and playing some euchre on the ride home. BT headset used a few times for calls.
I love that everything works. But the battery life is worse than bad.

Can someone please zip up the ".ico" files in the program folder (system tools, multimedia, etc folders) and post them here. I deleted the folder by mistake.

I forget if it needs an .ini also. Thanks

Calcu - the battery usage in 4.2.1 seems worse than 4.2. So i've gone back....but i think you changed one setting on the mail tab that when you zoomed in on a message, the left softkey read "reply" instead of "reply all".

Where is this edit located? Is it easy to change?

In regard to the upcoming 4.3 kitchen and manila HD... users of SSMAPA may want to be aware, before cooking, that SSMAPA is reported to not work, currently, with HD (that's what I have been reading anyway).
