I have one ringtone I want in the Visual Kitchen...do I have to make it a package or something to get it cooked in or can I put it in a folder like the old kitchen?

Re: [ 9-28 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

So... I've been out of this for sometime...

I was wondering what's up with 6.5.1 now. Are there still a lot of compatibility issues with it? Like does the task manager still over-lap? Or have most of those been solved.

What's the latest 6.5 and 6.5.1?

After I had a ton of those little issues that frustrated me I went back to 6.5 right after Manila 2.1 1.5 came out, I have a pretty good rom, but I am kinda itching to upgrade.

Great Rom but I am having some issues...

Manila Calendar isn't displaying the appointments that I have in the calendar. Is this a registry thing? Volume control is not the HTC one, but that's not a big deal since I can download a cab to fix that. Otherwise its working just fine. The Calendar is kinda of an issue though...

you can put it in a folder, drop it in one of the EXT packages you already have (tweaks maybe) but make sure it's in the "files" folder w/in the package

just make sure to assign it via a reg entry (unless you wanna manually assign it after each flash)

EDIT:
Ok next update...its to do with the time zones. I have no idea how to fix it though. As soon as I change my timezone from the default, it craps out. I have it set to the proper timezone in the clocks and alarms, the manila clock (local), and in the weather.

Any help?

Ok, slight update. I just noticed that the appointments are initially there, then disappear off the Calendar. i.e. the little grey triangle is in the month view when i first go to the calendar screen but then disappear half a second later. Same if I go to the "current day" view in manila calendar. Appointment shows up for a second then disappears.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Can you point me towards the cab that you used? I want to make sure I use the right one.

Alright I'm trying a kitchen off the new SYS and I'm loving it. No bugs so far.

I had the same problem at first. Switch the language to English (United States) (you may need to restart the phone after)
