The Diamond ROM is still not available.

Re: [ Mar 10 \ OS 5.2.21028 v4.5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.5, ROMs & Cabs

Hey folks.. This is the first time I've tried to use calkulins roms.. i've been using other roms...

The reason I'm doing this is because frankly, I'm sick of flashing to "other" roms that, when they update, theres no substance.. or they aren't tested enough and boom you get a ton of SIP lag and to most its no big deal, but to an avid texter and emailer it is a big deal...

I'm flashing now and I'll keep you guys posted on how i like 4.5

I have flashed 3 ROMs from the 4.5 kitchen, and this release, is very very very very nice!

I am hoping to find out the JMZ/Juicy visual feedback fix, because that's the only issue left with my ROM.

If that get's fixed, I am set for awhile (which means about 2 weeks).

oh okay... im using his rom and its pretty good.. i did notice that the sip lag still exists, but a lot and i mean a lot less then other roms out there..

I was texting and it froze once, not sure if it was even SIP lag.. The big notice is playing solitaire and there was absolutely no freezing.. I still have to test it out a few days to make sure.. but so far so good.

Great kitchen, build two ROMs(no problems yet) and by far the fastest I seen the Diamond run. You're the best Calcu's, great job.

Re: [ Mar 10 \ OS 5.2.21028 v4.5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.5, ROMs & Cabs

Need just a little help.
I am not new to flashing and have created previous roms with kitchens. However, for some reason can't create a correct ROM using Calcu's kitchen. I know it's my fault and I am just not selecting a correct option. However, every time i tried to create a ROM with delv's HD manilla and a Sprint (non-flip) clock (I like the original sprint one best) it just comes out white or doesn't display the background on all tabs correctly.
Can someone help and list the options I need to check off while cooking the ROM?
Thanks.

Just use indagroove's HD Manila with digital clock OEM. That's what I use and don't pick any other manila option in the kitchen if you use it.
