No... there's no cab files in there. Cooking is pretty easy... if I can do it anyone can. You might look into it when you have some time.

I didn't know if the system files are just for the 1.4 kitchen or both. Im guessing they are not since the rom i built didn't work. Maybe calc can post instructions on the first page when he returns from his well deserved vacation.

I would recommend using the other kitchen with the OEM pack from 4.3, although I haven't tried it myself. Like I said there was some dialog earlier in the thread about this if you want to hunt it up.

if you pull the sys from another kitchen i have found a good rule of thumb to pull the rom folder also, give that combination a shot and see if it will boot for you

IIRC, Stock is a ROM that was recreated from a shipped ROM dump. I don't think that it includes the radio ROM. It's not perfect.
Shipped is an actual ROM, including radio, from the provider. Using one of these will solve most problems, while the Stock ROMs might not.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you should be able to flash a Shipped ROM to fix these glitches from any provider, not just your own, as you are just going to be flashing a new ROM over it. You're just going to have to be able to change your PRL and radio, as a custom ROM flash won't change those. Make sure you know how to do that before you flash a ROM from another provider.

I'm using the one cooked into the OEM... just hadnt "turned it on"

in other news... i did actually wake up to a HR this morning... and my 3am backup never finished either so i lost a few things that hadnt been backed up. nothing major lost but hurts all the same.

so now i've got my eye on whether it will still happen again with Touch Response turned off...

Calcu I love all your roms but I have to say that 4.3 is the most unstable rom you have released yet, I never head to reset my phones with your roms and did it already 4 times for different reasons on 4.3. Hope to see and update soon, keep up the good work.
