okay here is a sample of how my EPST setting look on my sprint diamond, with full data working on alltel network. try these settings, The important steps for data are 8, 10 and 11. if you can get these the way i have them then you will not have a problem.
Also remember to update your PRL to an alltel PRL file. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Where XXXXXXXXXX is this should be your cell phone number. EPST Menu 1 Display- Change Nothing Here 2 A-Key - Change Nothing 3 NAM Settings- Use this to Change your MIN and MDN if you know what these are. This is where your phone number is stored at, so for pogramming of your phone. 4 CDMA Settings- Shouldn't Have to change anything here either. 5 Home SID/Home NID- for me these settings are 1236/65535 6 Modem Settings- I didnt change anything here 7 PRL- use this to update your PRL 8 Security- HDR AN AUTH USER ID- XXXXXXXXXX@alltel.net HDR AN AUTH Password- alltel PPP User ID- XXXXXXXXXX@alltel.net PPP Password- alltel 9 Data Parameters (dont worry about) 10 M.IP Settings Number of profiles-6 Active User Profile-1 MIP_Mode- Mobile IP preferred MIP Registion Retries- 2 MIP Registration retry 1750 ms MIP Pre-Registration-10 Mobile Node-HA Auth-Disable Send a Registrtaion Req- Disable Dormant Handoff Optimattion- Enable 11 M.IP Default Pofile (depending on what you use for Active User profile in step 10 set up that profile. Enable Profile-Enable NAI- XXXXXXXXXX@alltel.net MN HA SPI Set- Enable MN HA SPI Value-4D2 MN AAA SPI Set-Enable MN AAA SPI Value-4D2 Revers Tunneling Preference- Enable Home address- 0.0.0.0 Primary HA Address- 255.255.255.255 Secondary HA Address- 68.28.113.76 HA Shared Secret- secret AAA Shared Secret- alltel DMU public Key- 0 MN Authenicator-0 12 M.IP Default Profile1 (if you use Active user profile set to 1, then set up the infomation in step 11 here) |

Oh I forgot to ask you conflipper, does your phone have the roaming triangle going all the time? Are you using the radio that came with the sprint phone? Thank you again for your time and help.
