Re: [March 25th, 2009] "One Rom To Rule Them All..." MIGHTYROM 4.8 [20771] [UC] [24MB

For those of you that are in the tribe, I hope everyone had a nice Pesach seder.
And to keep this on topic... I'm hoping that this MR5.0 will be freeing us from the bondage of 6.1. (It's not really bondage, but I thought that saying it that way would be in the spirit of the holiday.)
Yom tov. May this be a good/easy week for all of us.

Oh. And I haven't had the ringer bug come back and my battery life has been spectacular since I uninstalled S2U2 and reinstalled the correct taskbar. Most of my ringers are still wma files and all the custom tones are in \Windows\Rings.

2. See Mighty 4.9 and Mighty 5.0 (6.5) drop at once
3. See Chrome (6.5) .1 for Diamond released=D>
4. See Nothing and sink into depression
5. Become desperate and buy a tpro
6. get a life and just wait it out.
GET A LIFE????????? Have you gone completely mad? How would I even go about filling all the time spent with my phone, waiting for the next ROM to drop, flashing ROMS, soft resetting my phone 72 times a day, and, and........oh yeah, I would have a life!!!!!!!

Both regs edits are in:

HKCU - Control Panel - Sound Categories - Ring
HKCU - Control Panel - Sound Categories - RingPreview

Apparently in both folders the InitVol option needs to be set to 4 instead of 5(the setting in my case).

Cheers

It is supposed to be like the 3g network, but a lot faster. Some areas are already using, or are supposed to be using the new 4g network. Chicago and Seattle being a couple I believe, but I could be wrong. I have not been paying much attention to Sprint lately, but if I hear of anything more I will certainly post it.

I believe it's WIMAX. Haven't seen the commercial, but it is already in a few markets. Supposed to be broadband speeds on wireless.

Sorry for the newbie question, but what is S2U2 and how can I remove it? I have Mighty 4.8 right now..

S2U2 is an app that isn't "stock" on MR.
It is a screen locking program that has a lot of options and is very capable, but in MY OPINION there is some sort of conflict that causes a few possible symptoms, including the ringtone bug and a quicker than normal draining of the battery.
If you want more information about it, you can find it here and here.
