Re: [February 6th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4.4.3 [SYS OS 20764 Build 20764] [UC]

Since I started using touchpal I dont think I care for the oh so wanted black keyboard that I desired. Once you figure out touchpal I dont think anyone will want to go back to any other keyboard.

I am very true to the touch pal as well but when I surf the web I like to use the Qwerty for user names, passwords and the like. Anytime I am texting or emailing it is touch pal all the way!!

EDIT - I did a hard reset and resolved the email/internet problems. Two follow-up questions for everyone :
1) Should I leave the connection named as "DATA" and do I need to do anything else for tethering?.. I have read on some threads that it should be SPRINT.
2) After initially setting my gmail account, I went back to rename my email to last.first@gmail.com , however after doing that it doesnt give me the option to rename the Account Display Name (initially gmal.com , now I want to rename to gmail.com)
I'm not sure if it's required (I'm guessing it is), so I usually change the data connection from DATA to SPRINT. As for it asking you for a username and password, just leave both fields blank and check off the box for "remember password". That's it. Everything should work going forward.

Don't know about renaming the Gmail account. Sorry...

Did anyone noticed Opera is very unstable? It continue to crash on me after few minutes I m using it. Suddenly the right corner icon (full screen) disappeared and the is no way to have it back. Then the full application will cease to respond and in a couple of instances not even the Task manager was able to kill it. I had to reboot the phone. This is a consistent problem I met and is the first time. Other releases were totally fine.

On the good side, I managed to have the flash working on this Opera version. I was able to choppily watch a video from PCWorld site. Too bad Opera crashed again.

Is this a known issue, or I am the only one?

I have had that problem as well...but I cleared the cache and then did a clean using memmaid and it seemed to go away. Waiting to see if it comes back.

The invisible landscape keyboard is really bugging me. I've hard reset and also reflashed but still no luck.

I am going to have to go back to 4.4.2 (which was solid for me) until Mike figures this out.

Wow, so opera is crashing and you can't use the keyboard in landscape? Should I stick to 4.4.2 with the HD until that is worked out? I really want to play with the new custom Manila and Black it out. Do the stated bugs kill it? Should I wait?

lol went to sprint store, they said they'd repair/replace for $55 (as far as I know Verzon does this for free within the first year)... yeah right.
Looks like i'll need to just send it into HTC. What's the chance you guys think they'll find out it was a custom rom?
