Re: [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

so it seems that Sprint's WinPM picture mail app doesn't like this ROM... so what's the recommended picmail solution?

I've tried them all. this is the only one that works. well, at least 90% of the time it does...

(and yes I know its a TP thread but its the same cabs and that thread gets a lot more action!)
If you tried and dont like them being threaded into your texts then you can use the one from SomeGuy which is stickied in the apps section of the forum I think. GL

So if I am running sprint, what is the difference between the regular rom and the OEM? Also, if I have the updated 2.00 radio, is that a problem?

Is there a reg hack to change the TXT message sent notification on the new ROM?

Can't do it via the Settings>Notifications page, it's not listed.

If you mean the difference between MightyROM and OEM, MightyROM is faster, cleaner, better battery life, updated apps, ....and the list goes on and on, plus it's the best ROM out there for the Diamond (IMO). The OEM ROM just plain sucks.

Don't know about the radio, I though the latest Sprint radio was 1.11, didn't know there was a 2.0

What makes it better than the others? And yes, it is 1.11, not 2.00 (I meant the non 1.00 version that shipped with the phone I got). I just received this phone from Sprint as an upgrade b/c my old Touch was going bad.

Thanks... seems to work...
one thing did happen, though, which may be anomalous...

After I sent a picmail, I noticed that the white LED OK ring started going crazy and continued that way for 15 minutes, long after the MMS was delivered. And it really dragged the battery down. I gather there was some kind of flukey network activity. Anyways I ended up soft reseting the device and it went away... hope it doesn't happen again...

Stability, much much better battery life, and updated apps......just those 3 are enough for me to ditch the stock Sprint ROM. It's also a lot cleaner, doesn't have all the garbage Sprint's has under the hood, plus Mighty cleaned up the registry.

As far as the radio version, this ROM actually comes with 1.11 already cooked in.

you can adjust or change this in the settings/sound and notifications. (where you pick your ringtones). also Ive read that little white light cant really do much battery draining.
