+1 on that!
I personally think its very important to flash shipped first then hard reset after flashing the custom ROM.

I think its more important to hard reset after a flash, thats all I do and I have never had a problem.

Why not do both? Cant hurt and might help. I think its worth the extra 10 minutes to always go back to shipped rather than wind up with a bug and be wondering if its a ROM bug or just a glitch on your install.
But thats just my opinion ~~~Better Safe Than Sorry!~~~

Pretty sure it's not a hardware issue. The recommended process for flashing involves a hard reset and flashing to shipped ROM though, that's the ONLY way to ensure that you won't run in to inexplicable issues. Search for all my posts on this thread, I've described it within the last week on this thread.

Good luck!
yea so after reading flashing reading and flashing, I flash back to stock and locked awaiting my replacement. good info and helpful people now i see why so many people come here

Re: [ROM] [JUNE.04.09] MightyROM4 [Windows Mobile 6.1 CE OS 21051 Build 21051.1.6.4]

Rom's running great. Nice and quick.

I flashed it and installed all my stuff last night.

I haven't tested everything yet but I'll keep everyone posted.

Only one little niggle;

I cfc live patched my manila (I don't know why the hell you don't cfc it before hand anymore) because my manila customization (over 50 _manila files from clock, to icons, to sliders)

Anyways my manila.exe is showing up in the task manager as "Start"

I tried going into the task manager when I noticed this to "add exclusive" but Start is not showing up in my running programs list...

Does anyone know another way to add exclusive?

Re: [ROM] [JUNE.04.09] MightyROM4 [Windows Mobile 6.1 CE OS 21051 Build 21051.1.6.4]

i'm sure this was posted before but i went back pages and didn't find anything.

i went from 4.7 to the stock/shipped to this victor version.
anyway i can get the old keyboard back? i'm not really feeling this new one

also in the clear storage option, i did clear storage and format (which i shouldn't have done...)
now all my folders in my internal storage is gone, and it seems like nothing will get saved there now.
for instance, in the camera it won't let me save to internal storage, only main memory.
There's only like 100MB or so in the main memory isn't there?
Can anyone help me with the internal storage issue?
