Yea phuck sprint. They simply refused to give me a touch pro by email and by phone. I am on my 3rd mogul after being upgraded for free from an apache (1st mogul had broken wifi switch, 2nd had faulty mini usb port). I had 3 apaches through replacement before I went to the sprint store and got angry and got a mogul (1st apache memory card slot stopped functioning, 2nd headphone jack stopped functioning, 3rd miniusb port became loose and only partialy functional). The newest mogul they have sent me randomly shuts off almost every night, locks up frequently and must be rebooted, and runs very slowly all the time. It is horrible.
Should I just go get angry at some poor sprint employee again? Is there any other way for me to get a touch pro? Does anyone know anyboy nice and understanding who works for sprint who I can call? If I get a touch pro and it sucks I swear I will get an Iphone. |

Why are you calling sprint? Just do the self-exchange. Keep doing it and refusing if it offers a refurb 6800. Accept if its a TPro.
Or get an iPhone - because I have an ipod touch (aka iphone without the phone part) and as good as the Touch Pro is, it's not an iPhone nor would you ever confuse the two lol

Well, my phone's charging little black piece broke out about 12pm last Friday. i was already checking into getting a replacement phone b/c of it turning off randomly and dropping calls. Everybody I talked with Friday said i'd get a referbished mogul. I gave it to my husband to take to sprint b/c I had to have a phone right away and they gave him a referbished mogul. arg! he asked if we could get a touch pro and they said NO WAY and if something happens to this phone or if it 'get's lost' to not even bother coming in and just file a claim. They were kind of rude about it. my 2 yr contract is up in Sept so i don't have too long to wait to get a touch pro!
Just now for fun I went onto the sprint site to see what kind of phone i could get to replace this one on the advanced replacement site and it won't let me do it b/c i haven't had this phone for more than 30 days but it did talk about a 30 guarantee and a new replacment but i have to go back to where i got it at. My only complaint about this phone is that it has the white spots on the screen, not sure that's a reason enough to get a new phone. What is the deal with the white spots anyways? So i'm going to be using it a lot these 30 days to see if a defect comes up, hoping it does. thanks Kim |

Here's my pain in the butt experience that ultimately led me to be a happy lad. I've had a Mogul for the past few years and have made many an I-phone user jeaslous with my hacks and fixes. I must admit that a few aspects of the I-phoney gave me cause for mild jealousy. Anyway...my mogul had an unfortunate meeting with a driveway as I was getting out of my car. It busted one of the hinges so I filed a claim with Asurion and sure enough after paying my fifty bux got a replacement mogul two days later. I wasn't mad...I liked my Mogul. I wasn't mad..until I activated and tried to use this refurbished garbage. The keyboard has at least 4 heys that take a million pounds of pressure to work. Internet explorer pops up every ten seconds or if you even remotely bump the phone. The jog wheel doesn't work at all! Sprint was zero help. I got angry with a chat rep. I called Asurion and explained what had happened and they offered a refurbed Mogul to which I said I'd really rather not have another experience like this. She said well we do have a comparable model...the touch pro that I could send you out tomorrow and she proceeded to verify my address. I said thanks a ton.."I guess that will have to do" and immediately hung up. I then emailed customer care and explained my experience and that I had paid fifty bux which was understandable and expected until I got the replacement. They shot an email back saying they just credited me 50 bux and voilla....I am now awaiting my new TP...excellent..I dare say excellent!...

ok just keep pressing "cancel request" untill it says touch pro? they are already sending me another mogul... and i have been on the phone all day trying to cancel the request. i am still on the phone now infact.

Got mine with a spare battery last night. $55 total and they pay to ship back my dying Mogul. Good deal! Just flashed Juicy's 4.7 and I'm sure I will end up trying out more before the week is out.
