I did the web based exchange through that Nextel link, Asurion nor Sprint cannot locate the order, was there a problem?
I emailed aeescalations to see what they have to say.
If they can't locate it, I'm gonna demand a Touch Pro.

I just did an advanced replacement of a mogul through the online system for my wife on the 27th. Got her TP on the 29th! Got it so fast, I almost did mine. But I think I'm going to wait and see what the Palm Pre is about.

I exchanged one Mogul with a large white spot on the screen and a non-functioning d-pad, received a Touch Pro through Sprint's advanced exchange website (like others, received the phone before the confirmation of shipping email - ordered last Friday night, received Monday).

Called Asurian because my wife's screen cracked on her Mogul (second Mogul - have insurance). Did the Asurian phoneclaim on line on Tuesday, which listed a replacement as a Touch Pro. At the end of the order, it couldn't complete without more info, said to call Asurian. Spoke to someone who said they would send a refurbished Mogul. Of course I said "Gee, the web site said I'd get a Touch Pro..." "No, we have Moguls available." Oh well. Today while flashing a new rom, noticed a white spot on that one. Called Asurian back, was transfered to a "tech" person, told her the problem, she said they were out of Moguls, all they had were Touch Pros, so she'd send one to me. We'll see what we get. This was around 3 pm Pacific Time today.

Beware that Asurian might be tracking that you have been having the issue and not claiming the replacements...

dammit, NOW you tell me :)
anyway, I dealt with this issue on Thursday, and had the new (refurb'd) phone on Friday, so I guess I'm happy

now, to learn to deal with six less hard buttons and no scroll wheel....

Having bought a TP back in early Jan before the floodgates opened for this deal I was in the same boat. Man, did I miss all my buttons. Dropped the thing on concrete twice too thanks to the crappy case that came with it. And yes - the face is scratched and I am pissad about that.
My refurb Mogul arrived the same day I bought the TP from a craigslist ad too, so 2 days after activating the TP, I went back to my Mogul. Glad I did - I'll ride out the 30-days of activation to become eligible for a swap too.

both websites have refurb moguls as the replacement device.. I guess I'll check again monday.

The website said that I'll be getting a TP as a replacement. My old Mogul was a step up from my Apache, but the poor Mogul just kept on getting more and more issues. I can only do so many hard resets before I get frustrated with it (and even then, the poor thing had a ton of issues). I'll miss those buttons and (and weirdly enough, the non-flush screen).
