Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 4 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links
I'm using a Sprint TP2 and running quite well. I've noticed that I don't get location data unless I turn on the GPS. Is there something that I need to do to get cell tower based location services to work?
Kernel: htc-msm-linux-20110819_183957 rootfs: rootfs-20110816-7e04198 thanks, dave |

some programs will ONLY use GPS location and not Network Location.
On my phone TP2 FRX07 latest build update location based works in Google Maps so try it their and see if it works. |

I've not found anything that works. I do use an Airave, maybe that is breaking it? thanks dave |

Have you tried without the Airave? Now for the dumb question - is Settings -> Location & Security -> Use wireless networks checked? LBS works fine for me (as of FRX07, new RIL |

Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 4 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links
that would do it. that device does not TRANSMIT location data. you need to connect to normal "towers"

Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 4 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links
I tried searching, but I didn't find this issue:
I copied over startup.txt, ran Haret.exe, and successfully booted into Android. I used it for hours today, and then turned off my device. Now, I went back to run Haret.exe again, and my setup.txt file was 0 bytes, meaning it was deleted/cleared out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Jee |
