Since I hardly use my phone to actually make and receive calls (ironic, eh? ), it's not a showstopper for me. I'm just happy voice search works...most of the time.

Kernel Version: 2.6.27.46-01177-gf93ab58
Build Number: full_msm-eng 2.2 MASTER eng. mjg.201000813.141358 test-keys.
How is your wifi on the new kernel for you? Does it connect??

I don't use WiFi much either, so I just tried it and it does connect.

Yeah, this has happened to me for quite a while now. Just click menu and toggle the speaker on and off quickly to get the mic going.

Since you never answer my posts, I'll ask again. Are you connecting to a WEP encrypted network? There were issues in the past with WEP, and they may still be present.

Also, I LedEffects works with the latest release, though I'd download it from the developers site as the one posted in this thread is outdated. I used the Topaz settings and am able to get the light to blink for texts/emails just like in WinMo and it also isn't on all the time.

I've seen a few guys that REALLY wanted it, and I think they sorted out incoming but not outgoing. Don't quote me on that.
Any info on being able to receive them would be great. I don't really send them, but friends send me pics all the time and I don't get them if I am on Android. Sucks. I tried settings from this post, but put in (MMSC=http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=your phone number) These were setting from when MMS didnt really work in WinMo. I noticed the Name: and APN: where reveresed in my phone already. I didn't change them. Also the Password: field had four *'s in it like there was a value there and the Server: field also had one * in it. Also the APN type: field had a * in it. If anyone knows how to get this working that would be great. Thanks.

will it connect to any network successfully? Or are you just having issues with one network in particular?

Are you replacing the modules with the zImage? They go hand in hand... I always delete (or move) my old zImage/modules whenever I update...

Also, the 1.2.2 version of that startup/update utility wouldn't delete the modules file. If you're using that, could be your issue...

Here is the latest. After using it some more, it works, but not fully. You can control the lights, but they don't always blink or do what you want them to. Not sure why, but I feel it's better than the light always being on.
