Nope. They are all done.

Or you can read and clearly see the known issues before asking another silly question. The first few posts are the best.

There's lots of free utilities to do it, just google to find them. In fact, there are links to several partition utilities posted in this thread alone.

Or, if you want to just nuke the sucker, makkonen posted a handy guide here:

In the interest of keeping the thread as clutter-free as possible, that's as far as I can help you

They're working on it now. No ETA, though. Obviously...

IE...devs dont have to search for a hour or more through useless posts to find the useful ones, therefore their time (which is free for the most part) isn't waisted, therefore in return we get better, faster updates (ideally)...

I agree that people should do all the searching and reading the first few posts before asking questions, but I doubt the devs are using this thread for anything of importance. Basic error reporting after new versions would be about it for them.

I hope they have less public areas for them to do their stuff (IRC's, XDA, etc.). If they are using this thread for actual development, god help us all.

Too bad the forum would not let you post until you have at least visited the first page of the thread. That would reduce some of the repeated posts.

Sure, try pushing the buttons in this order.....Power, volume up, volume down, soft reset, then a street fighter combo of right, right, left, left, up.....Oh wait, the TP2 doesn't have a dpad.........

Seriously, do you think someone can really help you if you do not post anything you have even done or what your issue even is!

The "RTFT" will answer ALL of your questions.

Hell, maybe even RTFOP

THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR YOU TO COME HERE AND TELL US WHICH OF YOUR FEATURES IS THE MOST WANTED. WE ALL WANT THIS OS COMPLETELY WORKING, WE ALL WANT SOUND, WE ALL WANT BT, WE DONT NEED TO HEAR YOU SAY THAT ANDROID IS USELESS WITHOUT CERTAIN FEATURES. BE PATIENT LIKE THE REST OF US.

If you think you need to post a question in this thread: READ THE ENTIRE THREAD AND USE SEARCH FIRST. Most questions have already been answered in this thread. I don't mind answering GOOD questions, but I really hate people asking the same questions over and over, ESPECIALLY when the answer is only a few pages before your post. DONT BE LAZY, THIS FORUM IS FOR DEVELOPMENT, NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

If you mis-calibrate your device: Boot back into WinMo, delete ts-calibration file from your SD card, and re-run Haret!

For better performance and battery life use task killer to end all apps after Android boots, there will be a LOT of them running about 50mb of RAM worth. Some apps also keep your handset from entering sleep mode. I also go to settings > location and turn off the GPS, as its not working right now anyways.

I love this idea!!

or how bout people stop asking questions with info that is on the first page of this thread, I think thats the better idea.

If people can't take a simple process and follow directions and know how to unzip a file, they have no business in a development thread. This isnt a Windows Mobile thread and should not be treated as one.

really just drag and drop and take out your sim. if it reboots just keep trying. android rebooted 3 times and then on the 4th it didnt and there has been no issues since.

it does help our post count and soon we will be VIP members!

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

504boynola this is addressed in the FAQ on page 1...Follow the directions below. Rename initrd_xxxxxx.gz to just INITRD.GZ. This happened to me the first time. It also allows you to set a folder if you want to. For now just get it working on the root first :)

Frequently Asked Questions

I have everything in the Android folder in the root of my SD Card but it won't work?
According to Makkonen, the Android folder no longer works. It was conflicting with apps that created their own android folder in the sdcard, so it was changed. If you still want to segregate your android files, change the android folder to "andboot". Or you can add rel_path=whatever to your cmdline in startup.txt and then use whatever directory. You need the latest initrd.gz for this to work correctly, though. Edit: By default you won't be using the latest initrd.gz just from downloading the Android source from post #1, you will want to download it from that link in this answer, just replace the initrd.gz that is already on your storage card with the new one. And now you will be able to have everything in the "andboot" folder. Thanks to Makkonen for clearing that up.

As 00_MACKIE_00 said before, please make sure you extracted the rootfs' to the SD card and just didn't put the zip you downloaded from this post in there :P

Guys this is exactly how its supposed to look on the ROOT of your storage card. This is directly from Pippy's directions.
Once you get it looking like this, launch haret and boom. Other than us doing it for you remotely, I do not kno what else we can say or do. lol

You may have restart once for it to come up and make sure the SIM card is out. You should have a 3G icon at the top in the taskbar if data is working.
