i still cant unmount after my install .. which is very odd. I did notice i didnt use your mtd parts so i guess ill give that a try next.

also the android reboots seem to happen because our directory structure isnt 100 percent. If you compare the old data.img vs what we have re-created there are a few folders missing.

So lmiller ur all set? i can give up on looking into this issue ?lol

Also, thanks for the mention of commenting out the modules part. I did get it to work without having to comment that out previously, so that's why I was continuing to leave it in.

I was really hoping to leave it similar to Vogue so that we could port over any changes, but at this point, I'm feeling like stripping everything out that we don't need for NAND booting and then do our own updates from there (like ACL has been doing with the installer script). I have a version of both on my machine, and I think I'm going to start focusing on the NAND only one instead of trying to keep all the other stuff in it.
Besides the modules portion on the init script, i didnt modify anything else. My install script does everything to modd the /system so the rootfs is no longer necessary. In nand, there is no reason to moutbind and create temp files and remount them like we do for haret. We simply modify the /system image with an update and voila, just works

you figure out your push issue ?

Not too sure about that just yet... something really weird happened after I reflashed back to what I was using before. I will look at it again tomorrow and let you know.

I didn't get too much time to play around with full nand. But it didnt reset on me. (This time anayway)
Tomorrow is Going to be fun!

I have not figured out the issue with push yet. I've followed a couple of guides so far, and none have been successful. If you wouldn't mind shooting me a PM with the steps that you use, that would be awesome

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 01-07: Panel power on/off fixes

Still not able to keep the data or system after a reboot.

Working on getting data to work. It's weird because it shows the 3G icon. But nothing is active on it...

Update:
My dmesg is now showing my correct command line... Not too sure Why is was not working like that before? Maybe it was never getting written.

I wish I could reboot this thing... Maybe my data would work then. How were you able to recreate this problem?

ahh ok.. i thought u were all set.

once i completely moved to nand i noticed the issue. Before i was partially booting sd. But i reverted back code to see where it broke. I tried 3 different versions of yaffs and one of them must be right. So more testing.

That whole unmount and checkpoint thing isnt right.

Ok sounds good. I'm going to clean up my initrd a bit and I will share it with you guys.
Still have yet to get data to work... But it's probably something with my APN settings.
Been running this for a couple of hours now with no issues besides that.
Everything seems to work just like before. (Besides data)
