Still have yet to get data to work... But it's probably something with my APN settings.
Been running this for a couple of hours now with no issues besides that.
Everything seems to work just like before. (Besides data)
i need you to test something. After you install and boot to android, can you dump nand to a file ..then we can compare to see if nand has the data.

I should be able to cat the thing to my sdcard right? Not having ADB is a real pita... Also, I think I may have gotten the push stuff working this morning. It helps if I install ssh first...

Edit: Also, I seem to be having the same issue as LMiller now where the system partition and data partition are wiped on a reboot. I wonder if a successful boot into Android is required to get the system partition to stay there...

yeah lmiler was able to cat out data from /dev/mtd so if it looks good in a hex editor, then data must be there.

To make this test valid, we need to wipe the partition, verify is wiped. write data.. cat out data, reboot and cat out data again..

Weird. Well, I guess I'll make a custom init that wipes the partition, cats it out to the sdcard, then copies data to sys and data, and cat that out to the sdcard too. Since I have no USB, I can't mtty or do any of that kind of stuff

Also, are you guys getting a fair number of bad block warnings when you mount or format? I also noticed that isCheckpointed is set to 0 on a reboot where it says 1 on the first boot.

Maybe you could push your changes to tinboot and bootenv when you get a chance. The thing that is most frustrating is that I don't have a soldering iron small enough to attempt fixing the damn phone, lol.

Did you determine that's the issue...? I'd imagine you'd need one with a pretty fine tip .

Great news on the NAND progress, and on Cotulla getting a TP2. I kinda fell off of this thread, let me know if I can help test - seems like you guys have it more than under control tho, so might be best for me to just wait until you have something to release to the masses .
