I have always operated under the assumption that these files should NOT change from what you get when you dump the stock ROM for your exact device. I have in the past successfully changed the virtual memory slot sizing when removing stuff from the XIP, but the WM6.5 builds didn't like this so I've since reverted to the stock .ROM and .VM files. My recommendation is to give that a shot.

I believe that the CDMA Touch Pro nk.exe that is out there as a native WM6.5 kernel is a hacked version. Done by a very capable expert, but a hacked version none the less. I don't believe that HTC has released a CDMA Touch Pro test ROM built for WM6.5 so there wouldn't be a true source. I'm not saying this is a problem, but could be a cause of other problems. My $0.02 on this.
why do you think that the cdma tp kernel is a hack ... it is like the earlier kernel for the gsm version honestly non of the kernels for 6.5 except the topaz and gsm diamond have actually matched the builds that they come with

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

The TP 6.5 kernal, is made the same way that MS or HTC would have created it. It wont match build numbers, but it doenst have to. What it does do is opens up 2 more slots to store modules, and that is a huge advantage for CDMA users.

CDMA devices are always getting ignored. so for this to happen is impressive by itself.

Yes, but it depends. What version of PPCKitchen are you currently using?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

JD and Conflipper - thanks for the comments. My opinion on the matter was based on limited insight into the process. I definitely don't want to minimize in any way the contributions you guys and others have made to the PPC community. Thank you!

This is very cool stuff! And a great leap for CDMA users. I noticed several older GSM devices have native 6.5 kernel. What are the chases of a native 6.5 kernel for titan?
