Anyway this means Sliding panel is not the culprit, so your search continues.
Sliding Panel? Are you referring to Titanium, or is there another app out there I'm not aware of?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Hello,

Anyone know why does device suck on 2nd splash screen without showing OS version?

If I replace the XIP to working XIP, everything works fine ( Mean no suck on 2nd splash screen ) so I'm sure its XIP problem.

21215 or any other builds XIP's of dsi76 has many XIP of different devices ported in one package. I tried some of them and only titan's ported xip ( 21215 ) worked for my wizard. But in 21502 none of them worked including titan's. Don't know about 21222 since haven't tried yet.

My porting is :

- Extract the donor xip using bepe's xip dumper or xipporter.
- Remove the OEMXIPKERNEL from donor xip and use wizard's OEMXIPKERNEL.
- Move OEMXIPKERNEL, MSXIPKernel, MSXIPKernelLTK to the kitchen ( ROM/XIP )
- Thats all for porting XIP I do every time or I'm missing anything or doing wrong?

BTW; I'm using bepe's platform rebuilder. I also noted that the xip dumper by bepe's, removes the imageinfo.txt in xip modules but in xipporter this don't happen, since we manually remove txt files from root. Does this case my sucking screen problem?

Please help.

Thanks and regards

Yeah just use the MSXIPKERNEL from the new XIP and use your existing device's OEMXIPKERNEL. That is all.

It's the SlidingPanel CPR file... they have it for QVGA (SlidingPanel_240x320.cpr and SlidingPanel_320x240.cpr) but not for VGA.

Using this and your Herman XIP and 21210_DPI_192_0409, I got a dead ROM

Still got suck on 2nd splash screen in 21222 ROM.

Used the XIP provided by drellisdee ( MSXIPKernelLTK and MSXIPKernel ).
