Greetings. Sktools has put out another update, bringing it to version 4.7.7.9.
Here's a list of new/updated features.

* WM2003(SE) is not supported any longer
* Added "Contacts" option
o show all contacts or search by substring
o add/remove category
o delete selected contacts
o "Replace" operation (replace text in selected field(s))
o "Set" operation (set text for selected field)
* Revised Databases option
* "Recurring Appointments": added command for creating recurring AllDay events from contacts birthday and anniversary
* commandline parameter #SCANC for creating recurring AllDay events from contacts birthday and anniversary
* "PIM Category": it is now possible to create a new category not only for contacts, but also for tasks and appointments
* "PIM Category": "Set Ringtone" command (only for contacts)
* fixed: Find in mail body error
* REG to CAB converter now supports REG file commands for deleting keys and values
* "Registry Explorer" setting: Show message before and after REG file import
* "Network Tools" setting: Establish connection
* "Installer": optional dialog before installation/extraction
* Settings->Main Settings->Installer: Show Dialog
* Settings->Main Settings->Installer: Silent installation

Quick question about SKTools System backup and ROM flashing:

If I create a system backup and then flash with a newer version of a ROM (Juicy for example). Is it a good idea to do a system restore afterwards? The idea is to avoid reinstalling programs and sync

Not a good idea going to a new platform. Once your new ROM is in place I suggest you back up contacts only. Keep in mind, that Sktool has a feature(Cab install) that lets you check a list of cab and install at one shot. I havent had a need to use it since I am all stock but I know it is there. Sktools has released 4.4.7.11 and here's a little info on the whole deal, and what's new with this update.

Has any one else used the unpacker. I also sometimes use the "view content" right on the unit.
It seems these guys never sleep. I bought mine back at V4.4.6.2.
I like the way that I can restore only PIM, and have all my email and call olgs restored.
I use one of my standby units as a ROM slave, load all my programs on it then do a full backup.
Flash the same ROM to the new unit, restore.

I am running 21867, 23420, 23064. On each of my backup 6800's.
This is one powerfull tool.
It can even do the button mapping.

Running the Optomizer for Max Mem.
26 - 29 mb in high mem. After Oxios
With PocketDigitalClock, SPBPocketPlus, RescoToday, GAlarm, all running on the today screen.
SPBMobileShell, Has been closed but can be started, just takes a bit.
CybronVoiceSpeedDial is loaded.
RescoAudio loaded.

I tried running "Dissable Push Internet" from the TP2 thread. Got mixed results.
Guess I gota wait for more $$ to try that out.
I am sooo tempted to scrape up the VZW TP1 for $99.99 just to get by.
