depends, My friend is on a lifetime membership, they tried to cut his off and he called and raised a fuss till they put it back on. Now he uses his radio, I use his online!!

Look into your original subscribe date and see if you can convince them that you was grandfathered in.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

How wonderful to see that someone has kept the ability to get into Sirius.
I have an Axim x51v. Are any of you able to login that have an Axim?
I get an error saying "unable to connect. make sure user info is correct..."
I am able to login at the Sirius site. I do not attempt to have both running.
Although I've tried both ways but, in the Sirius tab should the proxy be checked?

THANKS!

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

A lot of folks have been saying that they are able to log in to the website but cannot log in using this app.
Remember, there are two ways to log in to the website. One is to log in to your account. To make changes, order more stuff, etc. The other way is to log in to the online player and listen to radio via the web.

That second log in, to listen to the radio over the web, is the one that is important here.
If you can log in and listen to the radio over the web, you should be able to do so with the app. IF you are using your data plan (NOT WiFi). If you're connected to the web using WiFi, use the mobile browser, not this app.

Another thing, if you are a Canadian subscriber, you may still have issues. I remember R-Capi was looking into this a few months back. Don't know if he ever found a resolution before work overtook him.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

JDo,

So I guess you're NOT using WiFi.

The error message you cited earlier ("unable to connect. make sure user info is correct...") indicates that something was wrong with the logonID, the password, or the Captcha text that was entered.

Now for the painfully obvious (and what has hit me upside the head a few times). Make sure you selected Sirius in the dropdown and typed in your loginID, password, and captcha text correctly. All three, especially the captcha, are case-sensitive.

If you still get the "unable to connect. make sure user info is correct..." message, I'm at a complete loss...

If you look in settings there is a canadian subsciber check box.

Another thing to look into is hitting the "Clear Channel Cache" button at the bottom of the sirius settings menu. Might work as a master reset of sorts.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

I am using WiFi on my Axim. I have 2 apps. Sirius WM5 and this Cap one. I remember that the WM5 would show the CAPTCHA thing before when it worked, but you have to logon before that screen shows and of course I can't logon. I never see a captcha screen with the Cap player either.
So, you guys get in using an Axim??
