Looking for a Newsgroup Downloader With NZB Support

I've looked all over and can't seem to find a multithread (or even a single thread) newsgroup downloader that supports NZB files for windows mobile. It is the one piece of software that I am constantly wishing that I had for my phone. If anyone knows of one it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Looking for a Newsgroup Downloader With NZB Support

I use qmail for newsgroups, but have no idea if it supports NZB... (I do grab attachments using it...) Look here:

Qmail seems to support NNTP but no joy on Yenc or NZB support, there has gotta be something out there.

If you can find an open source solution for the windows environment, maybe we can port it to WM6... (Especially if it compiles in Visual Studio...) Post if you find something...

Re: Looking for a Newsgroup Downloader With NZB Support

Here's a link to the NZB-O-MaticPlus open source project, it is win32. It seems to have all the features that I'm looking for.

http://developer.berlios.de/projects/nomp/ lokks as if it is .net 2.0.

i've also been lookin for something like this what kinda connection do you have Retina? be interesting to see how fast you could get a movie or tv show via 3g
but that would get you to a quota pretty fast i know sprint has a 5gb limit and i think att does now too

I'm using Sprint's EVDO rev A. Have the old SERO package that is unlimited, no restrictions were put on that plan, as of yet anyway.

Re: Looking for a Newsgroup Downloader With NZB Support

lucky guy i had just found out about sero a couple of days before the whole package got turned into crap the only think that kept me from gettin sprint was the call forwarding after using visual voicemail services like callwave and youmail i'll never go back to regular voicemail

back to subject though have you checked out orb that would at least give you access to your stuff on your phone and then over on xda there is this remote desktop software that you can run on your box and phone were you can access your cpu remotely over wifi and 3g
