Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

To all:

I suddenly got many more xm/sirius channels for the last few days (i.e. more talk channels such as Sirius Left and America Left. Today (5/27/09) the channel lineup has contracted again when logging in using c-apiSRO. When I log in on my desktop, the additional channels load. Would a different XML file with the additional channels work? Any thoughts?.......

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

I edited the "channels.xml" file within the c-apiSRO provider folder and added all the XM online offerings. Actually easy to do after temporarily changing channels.xml to channels.txt.
Now I get all the XM channels on my Touch Pro that I get on my PC.
I've attached the file for all those that want to listen to the available lineup.
Just replace the "channels.xml" with the one I have provided.

Enjoy.

I cleared my cache this morning and when it reloaded the channels on start-up it came up with the same list posted above.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

asked in another forum about bypassing captchas for sirius and was told this hope iy can get implemented in c_apisro

Here are the Captcha constants:

Code:

The position in the array matches the captha id embedded in their login page.

So this calls a routine to get the response code from the array:

Code:
captcharesp[this.GetCaptchaIndex(curpage)]
The routine to parse the code would look something like this:

Code:
/// <summary>
    /// Get the image number so we
    /// can return the proper response from
    /// the response array.
    /// </summary>
    /// <param name="page"></param>
    /// <returns></returns>
    private int GetCaptchaIndex(string curPage)
    {
        #region "Captch image path sample"
        //http://www.sirius.com/mp/captcha/image/img_001.jpg
        //USA

        //http://mp.siriuscanada.ca/mp/captcha/image/img_001.jpg
        //CA
        #endregion

        //Get captcha image source
        string [] result = iterum2.GetHtmlSourceVal("src=\"/mp/captcha/image", curPage).Split(Char.Parse("/"));

        //get captca image number and parse array index out of it
        return (int.Parse(result[result.GetUpperBound(0)].Substring(4,3))-1);

    }
