CA, what happens when you select tcpmp? For me it launches and goes to the background, I have to minimize Siriuswm5 and bring tcpmp to the front then after about 30sec it starts playing. Try that, it might work for you too!

R-Capi is there anything that we can do to help you to help us??
It just says connection failed......it sucks

While you guys wait for Capi's schedule to clear up, I would Install the Debug version and send him the log file. Here is a link to the Debug file Capi posted a while back:

THanks SomeguyMMS, I didn't know about the debug version. I'll try it on my way home tonight and send R-Capi the logs.

This program is AWESOME, it's made my day go much better. It would be great if I could get my phone to last more than 2 hours on the battery now running it.

Any update on a WM 6.5 application?

I'm pretty sure you have to live in Canada to access a Canadian account, so I don't think Capi will be able to fix the issues with out logging info. So Everyone who is having the issue should install the debug version and send the logs to Capi. Atleast when he gets a few free hours, he will have everything he needs to fix it.

i'm running the app on 6.5 and it's fine. in fact, I run apps designed for the ARM processor and PPC 2000/2002 and they all run perfect in 6.x.

Here is an update for all of you Canadian subscribers. First of all, I haven't forgotten you. I had a chance to spend a little time over the past weekend to dig into this issue and the news isn't great, but not terrible.

It appears the problem exists with Windows Media Player and the network stream that is being served from the Canadian servers. For reasons unknown at this point, data is getting sent to Windows Media Player (WMP), but WMP is failing to respond. WMP just seems to close. This is consistent with some of the messages I've been reading where others are using TCPMP/SiriusWM5 and having success. Sirius Canada has felt they needed to modify their network stream in some fashion and this is what's causing the problem.

What I am in the process of doing is determining the differences between the Candian and US Sirius feeds to see what is causing WMP to shutdown. It may take some time to figure out, but I will do my best to solve this problem. If worse comes to worse I'll see what I can do to make TCPMP work with C-ApiSRO instead of WMP. It's something I've wanted to do anyway.

I know some of you are without your Sirius right now and it's probably killing you, but bear with me as this problem may take a little time to solve. I will do what I can to get this fixed.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Ok, I am a Noob, doing what a Noob usually does, asking a stoopid question. I know that this is a Pocket Pc forum and not a Smartphone forum, but I searched all over for a Sirius solution for my Excalibur, and Sirius WM5 doesn't seem to work. I have a full subscription. I just can't connect. The C-ApiSRO app looks inspiring and well coded. On my buddys Diamond it works great. It ,of course, will not work on my Excalibur, being a Smartphone. Are there any developmental possibilities of a working app for the Smartphone?
