Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

r-Capi, thanks for looking into this when you get the chance. I do finally have my Sirius back, took me a while to get a version of TCPMP that would work on my Bell Touch, finally found one with the WMA codecs and now SiriusWM5 will get me what I need for now. C-APISRO was a much cleaner solution and I look forward to the day that I can run it again.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

i tried searching this thread but it's huge and I haven't found it so I'll just ask.

I'm loving the app and it works great but I can't figure out how to output the audio to my bluetooth headset.

I have it paired and the app is streaming audio through the speaker.
if I get a call, the call audio is on the bluetooth but the Sirius is still on the speaker.

is there a setting I'm missing?

any help would be great
Thanks

You haven't said which phone & which BT headset you have. Not all are capable of streaming BT music. The BT settings on my phone say that both my Jabras are paired as "handsfree" & "wireless stereo". If you're not seeing the latter setting, either the phone or the headset may not have that capability. Or you may need to delete the profile & try re-pairing the two.

Ah, yes forgot that stuff. I lurk in the omnia forum most of the time.

I have the samsung omnia (i910) and two Jawbone headsets (assassin and ii) and neither offer 'wireless stereo', only 'handsfree'.

so there's no hope for me?

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Just downloaded 2.0.5 on my Sprint Mogul with stock 6.1 Win Mobile ROM. It actually worked, no hitch. Only listened for a few seconds at work. But thank you for this app. It's the first one this nice and seems to work flawlessly. Will test for a couple of hours later. How does one do a proper thanks in these forums, never really noticed?

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Can someone (XM user) do me a huge favor, and please post your latest updated 'channels.xml' file here? (it's located in Program Files\C-ApiSRO\Provider\XM\channels.xml). The app will load the Nov 08 channel list for me just fine, but when I hit Clear Channel Cache and restart, it won't load the new channel lineup... it just sits there with the "Loading Channels" message forever and never loads anything.

Thanks!

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

I backed up my channels.xml file and then cleared my cache to get the latest channel lineup and now mine stays on loading channels. Is this a problem with the app or has Sirius/XM changed something?

Anyway, I restored the backup and it is working again. Here is my latest channels.xml. Hope it works for you.

Thanks Bigwally. The one you've posted is definitely newer than the Nov-08 one that comes with the app, so that's great.

It's interesting to hear that you get the same issue that I do when trying to re-load channels. So it must be an issue on the XM side. We'll see if it clears up in the next day or so.. if not, maybe the dev. can take a look into it if he's reading?

Thanks again for the file Bigwally.
