I bet you had a previous version installed/uninstalled (did you try 1.0 when it came out?) If so it probably left some Reg entries behind. Deleting those should fix it.
Exactly my thought too.

Coz

Always been in there, but you had to get to it through the SPB Menu (which was horrible). I think I saw in the settings that you can assign the task manager to one of the soft keys now.

Yup, you can. You can also assign the Now Screen to a key as well as a bunch of the sub-folder (Messaging, Internet, Media, etc).

FWIW, I still think AEB+ has the best task manager. This has too many submenus.

Ohhh you are right... I remember now. It's just that every time I think of a task manager I think of a popup menu from the upper-right corner of the screen.

I'd still stick to iLauncher's task manager... has not failed me yet and it's oh so simple!

Anyway, I'm waiting for Shell 1.5 to be officially released to try it again... don't feel like having to deal with logs being written to my device, etc. but all the new stuff + storyr working on WP within Shell has gotten my interest!

I hear ya barkin'

This is off-topic for this thread, but directly applicable to your question...

Almost all of the icon folders are used by the theme (in one way or another). How about this: I can tell you how to install icon sets to your storage card (it requires a registry editor). Here's how:

1. Copy the icon folder to your storage card (anywhere).

2. Open your registry editor and navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MarsWare\WeatherPanel\I cons

3. Create a new String Value (in Icons). Example: Let's say you copied the icon folder (unchanged) to the root directory of your storage card. The String Value should look like this:
---> Name: Son-of-Commuter-240-QVGA Icons
---> String: \Storage Card\Son-of-Commuter-240-QVGA Icons

4. Close the registry editor. The icon set should now show up in WeatherPanel.

Note: The String Value Name can be anything you want. That's what shows up in WeatherPanel.

If you tell me you don't have a storage card...

Funny you should mention that... I actually lost mine recently on one of the random ejections. All this ROM stuff is happening at a good time for me now, since I cannot store my programs on the storage card.

As for the icons, it wasnt a big deal, it just looked to me like all the icons were just done in different sizes, and I didnt think they were all used. But now that I think about it, im sure they probably all are. The Huge ones make up the current day, the large make up the 5 day forecast, the others are used on the secondary screens, etc., etc.

Thanks!

Unless I hear of any issues, I'll go ahead and post it this weekend along with a cab install for the icons (so they can be easily installed to the storage card)...
