ok save the file IDTransferV1.03.ZIP to the computer then rename it to IDTransferV1.03.cab and then open explore on the active sync and put it in your device it does not matter what folder as long as you know where it is. also put it on the device and not the card ok. for some reason when i had it on the card it would freeze my phone. run it on your ppc and it will work. install it on your device ok...
good luck!!! |

so i did exactly what you said. i transfered the renamed file to my phone but now when i try to open the file in the phone i get the message: the central directory was not found in the archive (or you were trying to open a disk other then the last disk of a multi-disk archive). I think its the program zip that is giving me that error message? can someone please help me plzzz!!!
thanks so much! |

All i can think is your not renaming it correctly. Rename it like so:
ID.zip rename to "ID.CAB" Then run from your device... k?

I'm new to this site..I love it!!!...I've downloaded the program and it works great on my sprint 6700..only problem I'm having is text message notifications coming through bt..it tries to come through but it wont read it..is this a problem with MSVC? (which I have 1.6)....also when I say "open audio" it plays for 1 second and then it jumps to VC and back and forth..any info would be great!!!!
thanks |

Tre: Make sure you go to your Settings folder and tap the Voice Command icon, and you will see settings there where you can set up how the phone notifies you, just make sure to check all to appropriate boxes. When you high light an item, you can then hit "Options" to get specific options related to that item.. some have more/different options.
As for the Open Audio... If you are trying to play a artist or something using VC. You would hit the BT button and say "Play *Artist*" then you would push the BT button again and say "Open Audio"... That should keep the channel open indefinatley, or until you use the VC options agains. If you hit the BT button while a song is routed to the headset, VC will listen for a command. VC will then close the audio gateway regardless of command (Except for Open Audio, I guess). So you would need to reopen the Audio to re-enable in that case. Hope this helps.. |
