Well, now when my ringtone plays I can hear the bluetooth tone and the ringtone at the same time. What gives. It's like "tatatatatatatataPAUSEtatatatatataPAUSE. In the pause I hear the ringtone assigned to the phone. Anyone?

If all you want is the callerID ONLY to come thru the BT heatset, with NO ringing at all.... you need to set your phone ring tone to NONE. The only way I have found to stop the BT ring is to use Kirvin's 3.5 clean and simple rom. Other 3.5's might work as well, but I have not tested them.
That is how i'm running mine and I get nothing but the announcment I'D thru the BT headset. *WITH NEW ROMS RING MUST BE SET TO SILENT! IF YOU SET IT TO NONE, THE MSVC ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL NOT COME THRU AND ALL YOU'LL HEAR IS STATIC*

tmalmin, you could probably use version 1.02 if you can find it. I think that one auto started. But as for a 1.03 that remebers previous setting.. nope.. I'll add that to 1.04 when i make it.
But to get the current version to auto start, just put a shortcut to it in your windows/start up folder. |

tmalmin, just grab the idtransfer.exe and place it in /windows/startup and it should work every time you do a soft reset that includes removing the battery

Announcement Solution with Mortscript
I think i have a permanent fix to the bluetooth versus speaker announcements for voice command that some users have but I am not knowledgable enough in Mortscript to write the code for this. I know all that needs to be done is: make a registry change first ( I know what keys they are) or import a regkey, and then run the application IdTransfer which routes all announcements to the bluetooth earpiece. Finally to hide the application or minimize the IdTransfer window out of view. This is the earpiece script that we need. To return to speaker announcements I would just assume doing the exact opposite: return registry to original key, then close IdTransfer. This is the speaker script we need. I hope I explained this properly as my programming logic is terrible, and thats why I ask for help from this talented community :) Thanks again BadSector for this app or this wouldnt even be possible.

I have read that this may not work with WM6 - -that is that no caller id announcement is heard. Can anyone confirm that is the case? If so, is there a fix available or planned? Thanks.
