Either way flash any rom and you will be ok.....you can use SDcard method or RUU....I primarily flash via RUU...it is all personal choice.....just flash it and you will be up and running.....any rom you like...

You can also flash the original OEM ROM to get it back to original state if you are not getting results. you'll KNOW if the phone is bricked as you won't get it to do anything at all, even get into a bootloader (I believe.) It will just be... dead...
