I didn't know if I was able to run that while in splash screen because that's where I expect to be stuck with the gps radio and stock rom. Would I need to put in BL or do anything special... or is it really just plug up and run RUU? Thanks again!
If you flash via RUU it will put the phone into bootloader for you (you dont hafta do it)
but if you want to put in bootloader b4 you start the RUU, that's also fine (it wont hurt a thing)
oh and yes it's that EZ, just plug up and run RUU (make sure ran the unlocker first)

However, I recommend flashing via SD Card - only because its so much faster

Thank you!! I will buy a 2gb tomorrow and flash via SD... as long as I find this RUU_signed.nbh.

Help/comfort

How long should the nueSPL2.47 take on the first try via SD? His pdf says 10 seconds, but I've been staring at it in BL for about 10 minutes now... What next?

I think I did everything to the letter. It's like the first step, how did I mess it up?

Edit: Started over... Same deal, stuck on the BL and says TITA100 SPL-2.07No2Chem Titan SPL EVT. I am currently trying it the "edited" way from your guide (i.e. unrar and run it from the device...). If this doesn't work, will the first way work (straight to SD and rename it)?

Well thanks. I suppose I'll just try olipro and see if that will do it. Is there a big diff b/w the two?

Gosh... olipro wont work either... 2 tries. the RUU ends with an error

Oy... Neither unlocker wants to work for me... must be a sign :/

I prefer having those commands in bootloader...

this might sound silly, but did you try a soft reset?

Quote:
This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process.

Solution: If this happens, you can just soft-reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue.

Note: At this stage, the Wince is destroyed; instead, it is in upgrade mode.
