That's the same thing I do but i would rather keep it in the build that's why I wanna know how to fix it

There are threads on here somewhere....I have built very few OEM's myself...not a pro at it....I also know you can replace certain files to fix them....just have never played with it enough to lead you in right direction....

I have all the same settings and MS Direct Push off so I'm not sure whaat's going on here exactly. It is the dialer...i was told it is a common issue with dialers ported from GSM to CDMA (our phones from sprint, verizon, etc use CDMA). The dialer does not know how to handle the icon...so it nevers grays out...but the connection is idle even thougth to icon is active.
hope it helps...
BTW, my battery seems to be the same with the icon being like this...
needless to say...i dont like it either...hope someone can find the cause of it...the best dialers always pop-up from the GSM version... <quote>
That does help. Plus, I had to install the Wizard_reTOUCHed_Dialer2.cab after I flashed this kitchen. So now the diaaler works but this thing is going on. Oh well, it's a gret build and I'm sure the dialers will get sorted out eventually.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Did anyone ever find a fix for the text size not changing under Screen Text Size. Is there a reg enty i can change cant find the right one. Also for those that want to select multiple emails and dont want to reflash yet you can pull up the soft keyboard and hit the Ctrl button works just like control on your pc and select all the emails you want

Just relized its not that its not chaning its that the difference between default and the next one down dont change. I think i can find that lol will post when i do

Okay its under HKLM\System\GDI\V1\FontAlias\Tahoma:-9

I like the look of the iphone dialer but I don't like the fact that for smart dialing you have to start keying in the name of the contact then hit the hide keyboard soft key to see the list of contacts. Very nice looking dialer though. Jumping off soapbox now. lol
I HAVE MODIFIED THE MINIMAL DIALER TO WORK WITH SMARTDIALING (TESTED). SIMPLY DOWNLOAD THE ZIP, EXTRACT IT, AND PLACE IT IN YOUR USER_OEM FOLDER. THE DIALER WILL SHOWUP UNDER "OEM" IN THE KITCHEN AS "minimal Dialer". cheers...

P.S.: all i did was use the minimal dialer in the ppcgeeks_OEM.rar and replaced the etphone.dll with one that worked from an Iphone dialer i found at xda, and generated new GUIDs to avoid error messages in the kitchen...
hope it helps!!

EDIT: i took it out since it seems to have a problem. While a call is in progress, if you press the left soft key to switch from call status to the keypad and back again...it freezes the whole phone. the call remains active...but you cannot end the call, nor pick up another, etc. so i have taken the OEM down...

After these modifications and a few other tweaks I am very happy with 20270. It is fast, stable and gives me more free RAM than any other build I have used so far. I have included my selections.txt so you can see what I fill my ROM's with typically. Titan 20270 Selections.txt

Thank you everyone who has made this ROM great.

Yes, the fix for this apparently did not go out as I thought. Regardless there will be an update sometime today with a bunch of fixes and some updates.
