I HAVE MODIFIED THE MINIMAL DIALER TO WORK WITH SMARTDIALING (TESTED). SIMPLY DOWNLOAD THE ZIP, EXTRACT IT, AND PLACE IT IN YOUR USER_OEM FOLDER. THE DIALER WILL SHOWUP UNDER "OEM" IN THE KITCHEN AS "minimal Dialer". cheers...
P.S.: all i did was use the minimal dialer in the ppcgeeks_OEM.rar and replaced the etphone.dll with one that worked from an Iphone dialer i found at xda, and generated new GUIDs to avoid error messages in the kitchen...

EDIT: i took it out since it seems to have a problem. While a call is in progress, if you press the left soft key to switch from call status to the keypad and back again...it freezes the whole phone. the call remains active...but you cannot end the call, nor pick up another, etc. so i have taken the OEM down...
